Why the long case?

Nice! Reminds me of Tabris's setup.

I would bang a hot farmer!
I have been wondering if I should buy three of these or go for the
beddinge-murbo-sofa-bed__0122495_PE278827_S4.JPG

It's basically a sofa bed, costs a little more than the Poang but I was wondering if it is in fact more comfortable.
My old employer supplied that as the couch in a house they owned when they sent me out of town for 4 months a few years ago. It wasn't very comfortable.

Wow @ that Ice Hockey basement posted!!!

I wish Australian houses had a basement so I could put together a dedicated man cave like that...

My house is always so completely trashed due to having really young kids... can't wait for them to grow up then I can setup my stuff to look nice without worrying about it all getting destroyed!

My basement is finally (almost) done, been working on it on and off for over five years.

I'll start upstairs, in the family room:

As far as consoles, just the Wii in here (mainly for floor space)

[IM]http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c372/megashock5/fr3.jpg[/IMG]

Now heading down the stairs to the basement

Rick Nash Fathead and one of the banners that hung on the exterior of Nationwide Arena during the first (and only) playoff appearance

360, Gamecube, N64, Dreamcast, PS2, system selector

Closet - games, movies, controllers, bongos, backup Dreamcast, etc.

Puck pillows

Bar sink and mini fridge

Signature-collecting jersey, sign from first ever game, and poster matted with my playoff ticket stubs

This room took forever since I had no idea how to finish a basement and had to learn along the way. I've been collecting this stuff since before the Jackets played a single game.

And yeah, I already know the team sucks, so please don't remind me. ;)

This is awesome.

PS3 is in the other room, but connected to this tv - awesome while watching movies.
Just have to get rid of some of the cables (and the DSL box) and change up the decoration a little bit...

Poangs are decent, but uh... I dunno. They're not great or anything. I'd rather spend the money for 3 Poangs on one really nice chair.

Well the problem is that I'm part of some weird tripod where me and 2 friends always game together so I kinda need room for three but I can't really find a decent couch aside from the sofa beds at Ikea. The rest is 600-700 euro. The poangs looked nice but if you want better then the price is again up the ladder.

I would buy a Poang today if I lived within reasonable distance of an ikea.

They are not available for shipping on the website (ikea shipping is absurd in the first place).

I dunno about that one in particular, but I tried sitting on the KIVIK, and it was actually pretty comfortable. I think that's a lower-priced one, too.

This one is an Ektorp, looks studier than the sofa bed. Too bad Ikea is so far away, else I could just test them all out ^^
But I'll probably stick to this one for now, unless someone has a better alternative.
Long gaming sessions need comfy sitting!

I personally find it pretty uncomfortable to sit three full grown men in a three-seat sofa.

I would totally go for three chairs instead if possible. Combined with a footstool that chair is really comfy.

I couldn't imagine buying a couch without trying it first.

You mean the Poangs? :)

And yea, I am ofcourse gonna try before buying but I'd like to know what my choices are and if any of you have experience with these :)

haven't been much of console gamer, if one at all, and i'm trying to change that now.

Anybody has experience with this model? Its only 349 euro

We bought the white version 2 months ago. Really comfortable but I think the main pillows will be done after 1-2 years. I think they change the pillows at the store on a regular bias, but maybe you'll find some long time experience on the web.

Also, consider Ikeas Numerar Butcher block tops. I almost went that route, but I do not really like butcher block.

Looks nice indeed, I had no Idea sold these. I was always looking at the table tops /legs.

Might be interested in this one

or just go with this.

I had that exact couch, purchased it 2 months ago. The pillows are all lumpy and you need to build the couch yourself. Overall it feels very cheap. Would not recommend.

That's too bad. Just found some reviews online of people being rather happy with it. Meh. I think I'll just go for the Poangs.

or maybe these ones.

The Numerar is a good deal. I have a beech one in my kitchen over some cabinets I added. It's a pretty good looking piece of wood, and it's much cheaper than others.

Nice! Reminds me of Tabris's setup.
Thanks. Tabris' setup has been my main inspiration, as well as some other setups from previous years gaming setup threads. Needless to say it isn't even half as amazing as Tabris' setup, but I'm pretty pleased considering my bare bones budget, the fact that I'm still a student and this being my first apartment. :)

It's funny that without looking at your name I could tell this was a Dutch interior. This was confirmed by seeing tweakers.net on your screen and of course, your name:p
Haha. I'm kind of surprised actually considering the vast majority of the interior is straight out of IKEA. Though I also always seem to be able to tell when someone is Dutch based on their photos. I think it's the lighting.

Double sun? XD
Where I live on sun just doesn't cut it.

Haha yeah I noticed the shirts when I gathered the old photos. If you look closely you can see that they're not the same though. ;)

As for parquets. Mine is pretty much second cheapest one you can buy at IKEA. Fairly cheap, looks great and it's surprisingly good quality to boot.
