Song remakes you like better than the original

The one song that I can think of that I like better than the original is Seal's remake of Fly Like an Eagle. I just find his voice more soothing, and I think it helped for this song.

That's probably an unpopular opinion, but I have the feeling that's the case with most remakes.

Do you guys have any remakes that you enjoy better than the original? I'm interested in what you guys have to say.

Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah

And the Leonard Cohen original for comparison.

Lots of people do Bob Dylan better than Bob Dylan

Adele - "Make You Feel My Love"

Miley Cyrus feat. Johnzo West - "You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go"

And this cover is a pretty drastic change of genre by Swift:

Taylor Swift - "Untouchable"
Luna Halo - "Untouchable"

EDIT: I found my old post from last time this thread happened http://www.neogaf.com/forum/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=142279675

I think Miley Cyrus and Johnzo West did "You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go" better than the original:

"You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go" - Miley Cyrus featuring Johnzo West
"You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go (Live)" - Bob Dylan (Original)

I wouldn't say this is better, but it's a famously good cover of "Free Fallin'" by John Mayer:

"Free Fallin' (Live)" - John Mayer
"Free Fallin'" - Tom Petty (Original)

And Katy Perry did "Hackensack" better:

"Hackensack (Live)" - Katy Perry
"Hackensack" - Fountains of Wayne (Original)

Kasabian's "Goodbye Kiss" improved by Lana Del Rey:

"Goodbye Kiss (Live)" - Lana Del Rey
"Goodbye Kiss" - Kasabian (Original)
