Songs of Conquest is a classic turn-based adventure strategy game coming to PC. Players will command giant armies consisted of “otherworldly” beings and combat magicians in a sprawling pixelated world. The developers are creating this title as a love letter to the old adventure strategy games we once played. Carl Toftfelt, game designer at Lavapotion stated: “Songs of Conquest is our love letter to the old school adventure strategy games that we grew up playing, but with a completely fresh look and a unique combat system that adds so many new layers to the traditional formula. Our team is made up of games and TV industry veterans with a huge passion for fantasy so bringing this world to life is an incredibly satisfying project.”

Man I loved Hoom2. That game got so hard. Stoked for this but it's so far off. Is there anything similar out right now?

Just 2 more days! Hyped as hell.

And look at that beautiful map. :messenger_smiling_hearts:

Finally, FINALLY a game inspired by Heroes of Might and Magic was created.

Heroes of Might and Magic 3 is one of my favorite games of all time. I don't know if it will reach its anywhere that game in quality, but Im hyped.

Im just not sure if I'll buy it at early acess, because I want the full game.Never bought early acess, and probably never will. But Ill certainly watch previews and I'll keel an eye out for it.

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
Game looks great, but yeah, after what happened with Bannerlord I'd rather just not get into any Early Access games.

Will wait for release.

I just got into Bannerlord myself. So the early access has been shit, huh?
Game was pretty weak at launch, with lots of missing features when compared to Warband, and a bunch of other features that just didn't work.

I haven't been following it from very close since launch, but apparently the game's still missing lots of things, and that's 2 years after launch.

Maybe I should try Warband sometime. I've had a gay old time with Bannerlord, but Warband seems to be regarded better.

I've read yesterday that it was already five years in the making... and now early access. Sorry, but what is it with overambitious developers not wanting to finish a (smaller) game first?

Not to pile shit on this game because I find it interesting enough. It's just that I have so many EA games on my wishlist for years now and they're still EA.

I get that development can be troublesome and/or won't go as first anticipated. But don't judge me then when I'm sceptical about your product you're trying to get my support and money for.

Just a heads up but this is published by Coffee Stain Studios, if you have no idea who these guys are I don't blame you. But they specialise in working with unique indie developers and helping launch them into early access.

They have some big hitters and there developer partners tend to work closely with their community to deliver a game that is far outside of the original scope, and in a good way.

For me as soon as I saw that Icon pop up I knew it was in good hands.

Thank you! Recognised some of their games I find pretty amazing.

Really fun strategy game. I do not have much experience to the HOMM games so was not sure what to expect here. I almost refunded it at first but really glad I stuck with it. After understanding all the different mechanics the game is a ton of fun to lose hours to.
Needs some AI balancing and quality of life features but definitely one to get. Highly recommended.
