Massive =/= the average Ubisoft studioWhat are we thinking, looking great? With Ubisoft at this point I am like trained to think it will automatically be cookie-cutter and not fun.
Y'all know this is going to be straight trash
What are we thinking, looking great?
When are people going to fucking learn with UBI?
Game wasn’t on my radar and now it never will be.
When are people going to fucking learn with UBI?
I've seen enough tripe in newer UBI games that states otherwise and to personally never buy anotherCommunity Managers run the social media accounts. They don't do anything with the actual game.
When are people going to fucking learn with UBI?
Sounds about right, the recent artwork from Outlaws has only 1 white dude and I bet he's gonna be one of the villains.
When are people going to fucking learn with UBI?
Knock yourself out chiefWho cares about the “community manager” lol.
Those individuals with an agenda are everywhere in the industry, so you might as well quit gaming if you’re going to avoid a game, because of them.
Does she know that Yves Guillemot is a white dude?

Story trailer today.Hasn't this game had like no coverage? I dont have much faith
Well, I guess if she’s just a community manager, I don’t actually care since she wouldn’t be involved with the development or content of the game thankfully. I don’t really care about community managers in general, to be honest.

I mean if i was making a game I'd just not hire a bigot as the community manager.Community Managers run the social media accounts. They don't do anything with the actual game.
First time paying attention to this game. Google findings: It's a Massive Entertainment game (developers of Division 1 and 2). They also developed the Avatar game that came out in 2023. Back to back releases like these seem like a red flag, but gameplay videos are actually looking good. Let's see how it turns out.
Tbf Massive are the dudes behind the division, not the best game but the best series that ubisoft has going now right now after the shitshow of valhalla and skull and bones.Massive =/= the average Ubisoft studio
Yeahhhh, CMs basically helm all communications that are player-facing (social media, discord, etc.) and anything/everything in-between. They can also be the messengers bringing community sentiments to the dev team. If there's a CM that has personal opinions you don't agree with or something, you can still enjoy the product for what it is. They can provide personal feedback from play sessions, sure. But a lot of that is filtered through multiple folks. I think folks have just been knee jerking as of late as some CMs appear to be.... quite the characters.Well, I guess if she’s just a community manager, I don’t actually care since she wouldn’t be involved with the development or content of the game thankfully. You are going to get a Ubi game day 1?! “butwhy.gif”Have high hopes for this one I'll probably get it day one.
I might be a bit biased because I have several friends who are currently working, or have worked, on this game. So, I'll have to get it on day one.You are going to get a Ubi game day 1?! “butwhy.gif”
Wait a few months for patches and a price drop. It’s a Ubisoft game, it ain’t going anywhere.
Ahh, that’s a different situation and best of luck to the studio and them then.I might be a bit biased because I have several friends who are currently working, or have worked, on this game. So, I'll have to get it on day one.
Which would be a good barometer normally with any product. This is UBI though and you only have to look at their latest past catalogue to know this isn't the case..Yeahhhh, CMs basically helm all communications that are player-facing (social media, discord, etc.) and anything/everything in-between.
