I can't believe how many people are still complaining about losing dailies. Guess people miss impulse buying tons of games cause of the dailies and then letting them sit in their backlog to never be played.

Anything's a better buy than SAO.

I'm really enjoying it, if that counts?

Since it is an Aksys release rather than one of ours I'm not sure I can say much about it.
Ha, that's understandable :)

Don't know if you're allowed to answer this question, but will there be a beta, or is it 'closed doors' since you're working with Aksys?

Really. Wanting to buy something during the sale, but waiting until the end because "maybe there's a daily", except there never was so you wait 2 weeks for nothing and you would have had time to play during the sale but not after it was over, was not.... the funnest.

I know I do.
It’s pretty saddening seeing games not as low as they had been in the past with dailies. For whatever reason that enticed devs more to go lower than the normal.
Steam Game pricing on the steam store itself has definitely been hurt by the lack of dailies in terms of good deals.

The only thing that balances out the data is the sheer influx of indie devs on the platform who can set their own prices. Only reason steam can say “Prices are lower than they’ve ever been!”

omg Windows 10 nuked my mouse cursor again. What is wrong with this stupid OS.

You think that's bad, I regularly get a blue screen when booting up my PC.
I even bought a new hard drive and had my entire PC tested for about a week at a store and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Yet every other time when I boot up my PC, I get a blue-screen, then it restarts and works perfectly.

Could anyone explain me this whole thing of steam cards, please ?

Here's the general overview http://steamcommunity.com/tradingcards

You play games, you get cards for said game, usually half a set. Then you can trade or buy the rest of the cards you need to collect a full set and "craft" a badge, which is like an achievement but not entirely as useless.

Most of this you can see and do here
http://steamcommunity.com/my/badges/

This is my badges page for example
http://steamcommunity.com/id/Hacktor/badges/

For these badges you get emotes to use in steamchat and custom wallpapers for your profile.

Alternatively, you go on the steammarket and sell them for steamwallet for a nice little profit

Buy Game with cards
Play game to have cards drop (total playtime to drop all varies).
Use cards to make badges that increase your steam level and offer new features to your profile (more friends in your friends list, more options of what you can display on your page, steam chat emotes and wallpapers for your profile)

Or

Sell cards and get steam wallet funds you can in steam store to buy stuff

Edit:Like 1p and 2p are controlled by the same controller it's a battle picking people ffs

Basically you get nothing of that if the account is limited.

Elex looks pretty sweet.

How far are you in? What's your closest comparison in terms of other games?

I am about 11 hours in. It is really hard to compare to anything except previous Pirahna Bytes games. I will say the closest thing other than Risen would be Oblivion in 3rd person mode. Exploring is a huge focus of the game and the map is really big however the combat is pretty bad and the game is pretty unforgiving at the start (it is still unforgiving at 10 hours in). If you are interested you should definitely watch some videos, or buy on Steam so you can refund if you cant handle the "jankiness" of it.

Bought Lost Dimension about a year ago during a PSN sale and still haven't finished it.
I like the battle system and the premise is interesting but I always end up prioritizing other games.
It's supposed to be relatively short so I really should finish it, shame my favorite waifu died on the first trial.
This game has low budget written all over it but with that launch discount I definitely recommend jumping on it if you're interested.

Nice. I'll check some vids out.

I have no problem with some jank.

Gah, I only finally added a Steam authenticator last Saturday, so I can't actually sell anything on the market until tomorrow.

Also just finally got Enhanced Steam, says my card potential card monies is about $20.

That's not too bad I guess.
