Good thing about those leaked sales dates is that now we know when we won't get new Steam Client XD

Hopefully Agents of Mayhem hit's $15 bucks soon on PC. That's my price for it.

---

Was seeing if there were cheaper copies on Amazon.
For some reason when you search Agents of Mayhem on amazon. The second result is a porno called Virgin Hunters 3 lol

Nah, I'm uninstalling Blazing Angels 2, this game doesn't aged well at all. Flying is not fun, default control scheme for keyboard was made by jerk, and it's almost impossible to target anything properly. I gave up after 3rd mission, i think this is one of the worst realization of bombers in videogames ever - you can't just push one button to drop the bomb, you need to dive down and only then you'll be able to drop the bomb. What the hell, this is arcade flying shooter, not some hardcore simulator, why do you need to overcomplicated everything to condition when it simply not fun to play?

That's a shame about Agents of Mayhem. They played it on the Alienware stream a few times and it looks like a lot of fun.

A friend and I had a ton of fun playing through the Saint's Row games together. So this would have been an easy purchase if it had co-op. But I just don't have time for this kind of game when I have to play alone. There are too many other great single player games out right now.

Regarding recently price drops, some games have seen a price drop in preparation to Halloween Sale. These include games like Payday 2, Ultimate Doom and Doom 2

At least you made Clive Barker's Jericho look interesting enough for me to pickup. Luckily cheap keys are still available even after being removed from the store.

I know I should be excited about the sales. However, I recently bought so many games I really want to play, but can't find the time. I've been stuck in the final chapter of Trails in the Sky for months now, and I'm halfway through Dark Souls 1, but I'm overwhelmed with work :(

Loved the theater scene all the way through,
especially the “What would you say if I told you the entire production rests upon your shoulders?”
“I’d say, you’re super fucked.” exchange.
Saw there were a few other ways it could go, but I caught Victoria drugging the tea and made her drink it. Also, I nailed all of my lines!

Also couldn't help but feel terrible at being treated like a hero for helping Mikey when I let Drew get beaten and then kept the money.

Hella yes.
The cut to Chloe standing in the Ariel costume saying 'Damn it' had me crying with laughter, and nailing the lines in the play (with a little help from my book) felt wonderful. The improv bit was something magical too. It helps that The Tempest is my favourite Shakespeare play, I suppose. Then we had the nighttime scene with that kiss, and oh wow.

The dinner table scene was really good too. I tried playing it cool, all friendly, trying to avoid any drama, but of course that wasn't going to hold.

It's incredible how well this is done, how Deck Nine can make all too human interactions into excellent drama, more compelling than any alien invasion or end of the world scenario. Knowing what's to come has me equal parts excited and dreading the final episode, and then I just know that the bonus episode 'Goodbye' is going to emotionally crush me.

Can't wait.

Did the same, and yup, that was a hard thing to do. But Chloe isn't Chloe if she's not feeling like shit, so, it had to be done.
I loved the line from Samuel asking why Chloe was so angry all the time.

Midway through the third world of The Talos Principle and I've been having a great time with it. I haven't bothered with the stars, but I did collect all of the regular pieces and I'm definitely going to climb the tower. It joins the ranks of greats like The Witness, Antichamber and The Swapper for me.

I was planning on checking it out for a bit before my copy of TEW2 arrived, but I've been glued to it ever since I started.

Oh my god, World in Conflict is fucking amazing. Seriously, this is one of the best RTS games ever, a highest point of genre. It boggles my mind that fucking Vivendi greenlit this project, while Ubisoft forced devs to make goddamn Tom Clancy's The Division. Because it's absolutely logical that creators of amazing RTS games like Ground Control and World in Conflict are perfect match for online TPS. Why Ubisoft hates RTS genre so much, they've killed Settlers, Anno and World in Conflict, I'm afraid to play Tom Clancy's EndWar now because if this one would turn out amazing too, my respect to this company will drop to 0.

It's a good game, just don't expect anything amazing. First half kinda sucks, but game is not very long (around 6 hours) and those roman empire levels near the end was worth it. Just mindless old-school FPS with portion of typical Barkers body-horror, though some bosses were tricky and it was not very obvious how to deal with them without tips from guides.

I've been enjoying Warframe more than I expected, though I still haven't reached the point where I'm crafting a lot of things and so far I haven't found the need to farm for materials.

On the other hand, I've just come across some stuff in the game that is making my head spin. I understand it's a loot hunting game and grinding is the core gameplay loop but some of the stuff they ask you to do is insane. Layers upon layers of grinding to get to what you actually wanted to accomplish.

You're lucky there, EndWar isn't that great. It's clever in it's use of voice tech for commands, but it's nothing special. It's tragic what Massive Entertainment were turned into, especially as Ubi own the Tom Clancy license so they could easily just rebrand World in Conflict as Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising and do something excellent. But World in Conflict is a decade old now, and I'd be surprised if Massive still had the expertise to make another RTS.

Just another RTS great fallen by the wayside. That genre's got some serious issues.

The dialogue really's a big step up from the first game, not that that was bad however. It manages really well to be funny and "young" while still feeling natural.

They're doing an amazing job at presentation, the actual camera work and editing (If you can call them that in a videogame) is really well done, especially with the Soundtrack. That entire scene had a really nice build up with the background noise and
giving the player the choice to jump in or to trying to distract.

Yep, can't wait.
______

I hope we get another amazing setpiece like the
theatre
in the "last" episode

RTS might make them $25 million profit if everything goes well. Shooter games-as-a-service game makes them $500 million if it succeeds.

I applaud Ubisoft for not going 100% AAA even though the amount of studios working on any given Assassin's Creed is just silly. They still make smaller and weirder games every now and then as opposed to most of their (few) remaining competitors.

I should actually try World in Conflict again. I guess GOG is the only store selling it right now?

I am quite enjoying it. It has a little jank but is otherwise has a ncie sense of exploration and the light puzzles are decent.

Wow, Stories Untold is really good. I just intended to dip in and see what it was like... 4 hours later and I've finished it! Quite an affecting story and such a great way to present it. One of only a few specific pieces of story telling in gaming where I've genuinely thought "this couldn't be done better in any other medium".

Great stuff. If you see it on deal pick it up, well worth it.

From the Steam Direct page...
Before your store page or game build can go live, there is a brief review process where we run your game, look at your store page, and check that it is configured correctly and running as expected and not doing anything harmful. This takes between 1-5 days.

Someone at Valve saw these games and went "Yup! These are the kind of games that we want to sell".

The process is probably automated at this point.

So have there been any reports of accounts getting banned for activating keys via VPN? Really want to play the uncut version of Wolfenstein 2 but I don't wanna risk my 700+ games account over it.

I've never heard of anyone getting into trouble over it and i have been activating uncensored games via VPN for many years now

Tho in the case of Wolfie 2 (JaseC please correct me if i'm wrong here) there's a runtime restriction which requires you to use a VPN everytime you wanna start the game, unless you wait 3 months for said restriction to expire

Well, This is correct. You could use VPN to go offline mode though, I believe.
