It looks like they are focusing on smaller batches this time:

Damn them for greenlighting Venetica and not Grey Matter. It's the same publisher, but Venetica is garbage. Who the hell was voting for that?

hmm I don't actually see Agarest on greenlight anymore, anyone else getting this or am I just blind? Even searching for it comes up with no results
It's been greenlit already.
I understand that, but there are other titles that have been greenlit and even released that still show up, for example Evoland and la-mulana or titles that have been greenlit and not released such as Yogventures. I can see them but not Agarest?
Cheers, I wonder why it's not coming up on my end when I search :\
Oh well probably nothing serious
Looking at some recent submissions on Greenlight, this one looks pretty interesting, a game called Two Brothers:

I normally don't go for Nintendo-style games and I'm not breaking my streak, but this game DOES make me think really hard about saying "No".
Some people like me probably have a weird honesty problem where when it says would you buy this, and it's a genre I'm not interested in but I think the quality does look good and I think it should be on Steam, I might still not vote, or vote no.What the fuck at some of these people. If something looks good why not vote yes? I even vote yes on genres I don't like if the quality is good enough...
If the game looks competently made, just do people the solid and give them a yes.

I really only vote yes on games I would buy, especially since Valve has said a "No" doesn't really do anything. What the fuck at some of these people. If something looks good why not vote yes? I even vote yes on genres I don't like if the quality is good enough...
StarDew Valley still hasn't been greenlighted.
Well, if it is the same publisher will they be able to use that to get Grey Matter onto Steam? Or does that only work if your game got on Steam through a non-Greenlight method?

Hi,
Just a little bit of feedback. It's great that you're making a game, which is a tremendous achievement for anyone and takes a lot of courage, skill, and dedication.
It's good to start small. First, because if you start big it's easier to get lost while working on your project and make it so that you don't finish your game. Small, achievable projects are key. In your list of features, you include pretty much everything. So the problem is that most people don't think you're going to be capable of finishing all those features--because most developers aren't, even the best ones. Look at all the different genres and mechanics you're trying. Why not pick a simple, easy to understand game design and implement that first before trying to add the whole kitchen sink?
Second, you are on Greenlight and asking for funding. Is this your first game that you're making? It's okay if it is, everyone has got to start somewhere. But typically your first game is a trial run where you learn the process of making a game and finishing a project and testing and basically it's not so much about making the best game as it is just making a game. Asking for funding and trying to sell the game commercially implies that you think you're at a professional, advanced stage where you are ready to start doing this for a living. It's not an insult to say that most hobby developers aren't at this stage. In your Greenlight description, you have a number of spelling and grammar errors and it's not really clear what you're trying to convey -- that's OK, because you're just getting started, but it shows that you're probably not ready for this stage.
Finally, only 5% of people voted yes. I know negative feedback can be disheartening, but you have to realize what those votes mean. They don't mean that people hate you and think you should never make games again, they mean that the game you've presented here isn't ready to go on Steam as-is. No one is out to hurt you, they're out to try to improve the service. Even if the votes make you sad, there's no reason to post a message complaining about your reception--these people voting no are your potential customers one day. You should try to understand what makes them tick instead of getting upset.
If I were you I'd consider joining a website for independent developers, getting constructive criticism from other developers, looking at their work, sharing early builds of your game for free. Even try participating in competitions like Ludlum Dare to hone your skills.
Good luck with 13 and any future projects you work on. Please try to keep some of this stuff in mind

I've been rooting for Stardew Valley. It looks fantastic, Harvest Moon (which I've thirsted for on PC) with a dash of Terraria. I can see myself sinking many hours into my farm.
