So first of all the Margaret fight is integrated into the actual ending, so it's not just some random sidequest that you do if you are super OCD or whatever. And that's a nice touch, because then Margaret is the one that brings you back from the dead at the end and makes her character a bit more important. You still have the whole "S-links from the past come save you" thing, but it happens during the fight with Margaret rather than the true end boss.
They also re-did all the stuff with Yu as well, as he discovers that he isn't done not because he makes some random guesses to check the gas station attendant, but because he is stuck in the same day over and over again ala Groundhog's Day.
Also, they do give him his own Shadow to accept as his own in order to deal with his own angst, so he's not the pure blank slate as he is in the game.

At the very least, DTL could do an OT2 or whatever and just steal whoever did OT1's format!
Lizbest is commitment. Asuna is the kind of girl that ditches you once you stop carrying her in a dungeon.

I discussed this with Hito recently and we decided that Spring 2013 would be the SPRING of TRUTH because that's when Shinpi no Hou will actually be out on BD and we'll actually get to see it. No point hyping up something from a season that's technically not watchable in that season!

The characters are fantastic.
Serika is REALLY damned cute.
Also, the introspective into Furuya's reasons for wanting to be an astronaut was really interesting. It made him seem much less like an asshole.

One gets dunked scavenging for dragon poop, the other can solo in the frontline dungeon. Lizbeth is that friend who's great to goof off with, but god forbid you ever take her into a dungeon, let alone a raid.
It's only the most important animated feature of our lifetimes.

Lizbeth would end up aggroing everything and causing multiple near-wipes while emoting like a nooblord. Asuna might be a bit of a tryhard dickburger, but she can back it up.
If Lizbest wants to /dance in the middle of a raid, by El Cantare, that's her right.
