Ditto. Which sucks, but my mom lets me mooch off her amazon prime and I think I still have one of those dumb coins or whatever. If I dug up that password I could probs watch it, but I'm honestly too lazy.

Does it bother anyone else that Woolie-cat says "SU'P MATT?" rather than 'S'UP' in the NitW intro?

Edit: Just started watching the VOD from DS3 stream. Someone please tell me they disable the donation noises? That's going to make this unbearable.

According to Miyazaki, the Souls games were designed with somber, minimalist audio* specifically to facilitate Max-style craven casino pop-up bonanza stream notifications.

*About half the areas in the Ringed City are actually sound mixed like shit due to loud attack spam by enemies you can't reach/kill or enemies that have 100% guaranteed auto-play "barks" on attacks, but ignore that.

That's pretty much how I defeated the Abyss Watchers. I was super tired at the time and couldn't be bothered to think about what I was actually doing so I just threw myself at them again and again until I eventually beat them after like 20 tries or so.

Going to catch up on the podcast and I just kicked mysefl in the but because the description of this one is "The Roomcast" Like fuck. Why do I keep waiting for over a week?

I hope they give a proper run of the DS3 DLC because I'm pretty sure they missed like 3 bosses, unless they hit them all in the last hour of the VOD here.

edit: ah, they didn't actually beat the DLC yet.

So going through Liam's KH playthrough and hahaha holy shit he has made this game impossible for himself. Not only did he take the hardest difficulty, with the worst opening weapon for that difficulty with the slowest level up speed, I just found out he won't learn a crucial skill that he really really needs until lvl 90 Like wow, I can't wait for his future KH game streams where he can play and not get fucked super hard.

Christ LA Noire faces are something else, now that the game is a few years old, and we've seen stuff like Uncharted 4, the effect is simultaneously diminished and even more impressive, it looks fucking nuts!

For maximum comedy, instead of comparing it to Uncharted, compare it to Mass Effect: Andromeda.

It's indeed strangely dated and yet somewhat advanced.

Finishing off watching the DS3:DLC and for Chrissake why do they have such a hard time understanding what 'go up' means.

They also need to stop screaming into the mics. They've never been this bad about it before.

Bad news is that VGCW is ending soon completely, with end game airing on may 9th being the last plot driven thing ever.

The good news is that his challenger is none other than our resident mascot and perpetual loser: Zubaz/Whobaz/Zubat. The great thing is either he loses and gets humiliated in the most spectacular way.

Or wins the title and it ultimately means nothing as VGCW ends.

I invite ya'll to come along and watch on may 9th to show support for ya boiiiii.

Even then, I have been following VGCW for a while and it's been great fun for a while and I think has probably one of the few stream communities who are full of nice peeps, and always had a lot of effort and heart behind it. Even if you don't necessarily care about the Baz, there will be a shitton of matches and PLOT, and I think it's generally a good time. So just a heads up for ya'll, for I know some of you actually watched back when Zubaz got qualified through Star Road

It's mostly just streams, they tend to do pretty well with those reactions in their edited videos.

And to be fair the last death of the stream totally deserved it, and also they have a system in that cuts their mics if they're too nuts. So that's actually really great.

Had a bit of a break from the Zaibatsu now watching the LPs I missed. I remember really enjoying Tony Hawk's Underground when I played it when it came out, but after watching the LP all the missions seem really boring.

Back during the GTAIV phase of Rockstar game design there was a high priority placed on making sure that even touching a car was the least satisfying experience possible for players, because... uh...

... I have no idea, really, but they were pretty adamant about it.

Yes, Matt, the same thing they've done the last couple years - skip E3 press conference. Doing a direct is not them having a conference at E3. You don't have to always get miffed by anything that carries the slight possibility of potentially maybe being seen as a negative for Nintendo.
