Kinda odd they didn't release the full patch notes.

They need to patch it so that the final boss drops more souls.

I've been doing some commentary videos for the COIN-OP.TV youtube channel lately showing my first foray into the game. I linked them below.

I'm enjoying the game quite a bit but really have no idea what I'm doing. :p

Feel free to give me some tips for the videos or things that would be cool to showcase (and how to do it).

Loving this game! Never played the PC version before, so I double-dipped on Steam, and I think I like playing on the PS3 more!

Is there really no in-game map? It has been invaluable in the console version, there's no way I'd be able to keep track of all the tunnels and paths I've made/mined otherwise.

Also, I like the console version's crafting interface better. On the PC, it's just a long-ass list to scroll through, not categorized.

I know the devs are still working on new updates for the PC version (new snow biome, etc) so I hope they implement some of the things added for the console version, namely the in-game map and the ability to pause the game (not the auto-pause option, but a full-on pause menu, because I like how the world doesn't stop when you're going through your inventory, crafting, or looting chests). And I also hope they add that new PC content into the PS3 version, as well!

I am preparing to take on the Wall of Flesh boss. Saw a video on youtube showing how to cheese it easily with the water bolt spell. :)

I will happily triple-dip on the Vita version whenever that comes out, too, providing that the devs figure out good controls with the fewer buttons available.

Edit: Well got my shit kicked in by WoF... too hard to have to constantly run, aim/shoot and navigate the crazy ass up and down landscape all at once. Gonna have to build a long ass bridge/path, I guess. ;_;

A heads up, besides the confirmed EU release and the PS3 patch, a patch has also been released for the 360 version of the game.
Should be here by now.

There's a mini-map. I forget which button it is, but try em all out. I think maybe 'Select'?

nope but there are multiple programs that allow you to map out your whole world with the click of a button.

Haha successfully cheesed Wall of Flesh with water bolt after building a long ass bridge of wood platforms. Got wings now in hard mode, fucking awesome.

Playing briefly with a new character in the PC version, it feels so tedious getting around lol.

BTW the shotgun fucking sucks, waste of 70 gold.
