I just learned that Obama has a shadow government..........I hope they're hiring because I want submit my resume.

entrenched holdovers from previous opposing administrations are a fact of life with the federal gov. not exactly a shadow government, but they can be a potent force. Like the people from Reagan and Bush 1's era. That's over a decade of job placement and career with people loyal to the GOP, and they made things hell for anyone trying to do the work of a Democratic administration during the mid90s.

now if the actual Shadow Government was working with Obama, that would be some Tom Clancy\Oliver Stone type interesting news.

lol, funny how conservative media is going on about it, because they knew their side utilized it so much during Clinton's and Obama's presidencies.

I never made any arguments that it wasn't petty, in fact the smiley I included was deliberate to denote that I was making a very intended petty comment. Because if you are going to attack a character's look, that is based on an actual person, and a character's hairstyle that is worn by woman across the world then, yes, I want you to display how you look.

You are making the assumption also that people making these comments are wanting a dialogue about art and the models of a character. There is no intellectual discussion on the merits of a character model with a comment similar to "this haircut is edgy."

I'm actually not. I said that they were bored, and in the absence of having anything else to talk about they are killing time.

"That isn't how deconstruction of art or criticism works if we're going to have a dialogue about the work."

Then I have to ask you to explain your point here if you are making this point in a conversation about people not caring about dialogue or actual criticism of work. Since that sentence of yours seems to imply that we are referencing posters that actually do care about dialogue and the improvement of character models through criticism.

Because if you are not referencing these posters that I defined then I do not understand the reason for your comment since someone actually interested in a dialogue and criticism would not be targeted to my intended petty remark, and I've provided an in depth post earlier to make it clear what type of posters I have referenced and continue to reference.

The bolded was in response to you directly in relation to the quote at the end of this post.

With ME1-3 there was at least something game/story related to talk/ get excited about to help ease us past the facial animations and design jank. And it is jank. This ones on the marketing for failing with the slight of hand. People are bored. What else is there to do?

That was were I said that they had nothing else to talk about.

And we'll have to agree to disagree the complaining about another person's complaint should produce any outcome other than a discussion.

This is where we go into the value of quality in discussion part that i was responding to.

Edit: Will be back to continue this in a sec.

He's the reason I incorporated that term into my lexicon tbh

I personally can't join #NoPulloutGang, my pockets aren't prepared for that type of commitment
I thought you were better than this
Somehow better than asking to lick their forehead 😑😑

I just thought it was funnier... more clean term to use than the alternates.

Though you won't catch me sniffing the seat J-Lo sat in, that's harSon territory.

It now sounds like you are talking about the quality of discussions in a community thread but I'm failing to see your point of starting this conservation. Especially when I made sure to state that my comment on wanting to see a poster's appearance was based on their own ignorant statements of criticizing actual looks, so there is not some exposing of my very forward petty comment.

Are there certain claims from hoteps we should not deny?

That Egyptian history and accomplishments are black history and accomplishments. That's all. No need to go deep. I see so much negativity about it that I'm really just curious if the average black person knows that or if it's become a rejected notion.

Admission: I took a little offense, not because I consider myself a hotep, but because I was practically raised knowing the importance of the contributions of Egyptian civilization to modern civilization, I'm a hotep by damn near birth. It's a shame to see in the black culture thread that people hate on what is probably the most important(and hijacked) era of
black
history. There's a reason people fight over the history. But like Egyptian historian John Anthony West... "I can't say any more than that, or I'll get in trouble."

So I really just want to know how strong people's argument game is against the "hoteps", or is it just some bandwagoning that I should ignore from now on.

What is classified as a Hotep? I might be one. I love Black History, I love Black Women, I think our people are the most creative and resilient people on the face of the planet. I believe in Marcus Garvey's Go Back To Africa movement and I have a Red Black and Green flag hanging in my apartment.

Shit is there a Hotep test or something?

Charlamagne Tha God-Fucknigga
Floyd Mayweather-Fucknigga
50 Cent-Fucknigga
The Weeknd - Fuckboy anthems
Killer Mike-Nigga, how is you a capitalist with libertarian sensibilities but champion the prolitereate, and endorse a socialist? ol' politically confused ass nikka
Don Lemon - respectable negro in the negative sense/coonish sensibilities. I don't really fuck with him in general, but I haven't had any major complaints with the guy in a while, but that's probably because he's not terrible relative to a lof of the fuckery on cnn in general.
Dr.Umar Johnson - LOL

Are there certain claims from hoteps we should not deny?

There are Black Jews, but no, Black people as whole are not the "real Israelites." Basically anything involving the the religion of Judaism is where hoteps should be ignored, I dunno why they have a bug up their ass about this particular issue.
Also, anything involving women.

I didn't want to call this out, but I'm generally curious, and since this is the Black Culture thread, I've gotta ask.. Do most people completely deny everything that "hoteps" claim to be true?

Oh yeah, I remember you...

Anyone dropped this Umar Johnson interview with the breakfast club here?

phewww
Charlamagne: So as much as we know that America has a history of racism, institutionalized racism, systemic racism, why did Barack Obama become president?

Umar Johnson: Excellent question. Ok every president that is elected is given a domestic mandate and an international mandate. There's something they need you to do domestically, there's something they need you to do internationally. For president Obama his international mandate was to reopen Africa's resources to western exploitation. George Bush destroyed the economic conversation between America and Africa. And as you know Africa is the richest continent on the face of the Earth, no country can survive without it. If you have a cell phone, laptop, television, car, airplane, it requires a substance a material called coltan. The congo is the number 1 producer of coltan on the globe. No Congo, no cell phones. So America needs Africa. Bush destroyed the relationship with the African union. With Obama's father being Kenyan and his mother being white, do you understand, he was the perfect person in the white house to reopen up that relationship with Africa, which he has done, ok, and through Africom which is African command president Obama has successfully recolonized Africa in the way of Western financial interest at a rate we haven't seen since Africa was under colonialism, so he succeeded internationally. That was the international mandate, get the money back from Africa, the gold, the diamonds, the oil, the coltan, get it back, he got it.

Charlamagne: What's the Domestic mandate?

Umar Johnson: The Domestic mandate. The reason president Obama was made president domestically is to brain wash and manipulate black America long enough so the American power structure could take every civil right that our ancestors fought for and give it to every other minority group so by the time Obama leaves office all of our rights will have been taken by the other minority groups and we will be back in the 1960s Jim Crow style.

I hope that "phewww" was because this interview is shit.

Hahaha. Yea that was my first exposure to Umar. I still don't know anything about him beyond that interview. One thing he said in that interview sticks out to me, the part about how Obama got out of office without doing much for Black people, and now we're basically hanging in the wind without many options. That part completely came true. Nice try though. I like how you randomly pop up with the discredit attempt.

The bandwagon arrives \/\/\/\/\/\/

Yeah let's blame President "Trayvon Martin could be my son" Obama for the racist ass right allowing him to accomplish fuck all for six years.

It's deeper than that. Those are just words. Words are free. He was the President. Presidents are Executives. They put words into action. He didn't. I'm not mad at Obama, I don't leave my well-being in the hands of strangers regardless, but he has left me neutral.

I trust he's putting in some good work behind closed doors these days.

LOL @ randomly pop up when I'm a regular. Meanwhile here you are again annoyed at people calling clowns like Umar Johnson a hotep for being ignorant as fuck.

I'm going to slide out of this one before I raise the spirits in here and get the ME mob after me again. Criticism of criticism is a strangely circular highway to nowhere.
(No photo verification needed to scrutinize this comment. Feel free).

I can't be assed to criticise a person on their opinion, long as it isn't some made up shit. The problem is some people get way too attached to things so can't accept others opinions. It's kinda messed up.

Fuck Umar Johnson, I don't give a shit about him. He's the only one to call out that I know of, so I used him in context to bring up my question to the thread. You brought up some old shit that has nothing to do with the question I asked. So I can't see you as anything other than a troll.

Oh wait you're a regular? My bad let me pay the proper respects...

The nigga had the entire fucking midwest wanting to lynch his ass when he said he could have been Trayvon. When he made a joke about getting into the WH without being shot at. Half the people working with him did not want him to do anything positive. But he's supposed to do everything when he's getting blocked at every turn? The fuck?

We need so much better political education, WAY too many people think the President is a king or some shit that has total and 100% control.
