It would be kind of cool if Japanese culture sort of had an a-ha moment when it comes to dark skin. Same with the rest of the world, I guess. And just take other people into account. Instead of just reiterating for the millionth time "well in Japan, dark skin means strength or demon possession or a feral nature...yah yah yah yah yahh, we understand that truly, since that's been said of dark skinned people everywhere for centuries. Its not just criticism of the Japanese. If people didn't care on the side of the good, they would just side eye the fuck out of Japanese media until they were completely irredeemable instead of quietly mentioning the moments as they happen.

and yeah we can't know that the origin of japanese myth races like ogres were from ancient contact with other human races. But just like our experiences with our European brothers, it just somehow feels really right, considering everything else in context.

I only initially read the first page of this thread, not surprised what its turned into. People will pick the dumbest shit to fuss over.

God forbid, a theatre decides to have a woman only movie showing of Wonder Woman, how dare they impede on their free will to go to a different theatre or wait another day to see the same movie. 🙄🙄

Ah yea, I love how doing any little things like this always poses some theoretical "Butterfly Effect" that will lead to us losing future elections, or creating more Anti-SJW types.

I agree with you on the crazy hype. It doesn't make much sense. It's a nice hero arena game.

I really wish a high-future-tech tactical, arena shooter was being developed. I'm not a fan of Blizzard's cartoon styling.

The Blizzard names goes a long way, immediately recognizable characters,and the community started out strong with the fan-works, especially the porn community, and that's a great indicator of longevity.

WASHINGTON ― A pair of bills introduced in the House and the Senate would make assaulting law enforcement officers a federal offense and suing cops for civil rights violations more difficult.

Under the Back the Blue Act, introduced on May 16 by Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) in the Senate and Rep. Ted Poe (R-Texas) in the House, suing cops in federal court for violating the constitutional rights of civilians will be limited.

The bill introduced in the Senate states that individuals who were ”engaged in felonies or crimes of violence" would be blocked from receiving damages for any violations that occurred during ”any action brought against a judicial officer for an act or omission taken in the judicial capacity of that officer."

So, even if the individual can prove their rights were violated by an officer, police departments would be able to claim an individual's injuries were a result of that person's conduct which, to quote the bill, ”more likely than not, constituted a felony or a crime of violence."
