This is bullshit. The Republican party literally has an approved doctrine of bigotry. And the party actively acts against any form of insubordination.
If you claim to be a Republican, you are either a bigot, or you are a traitor to the Republican platform. There is no other option.

Geeze, that segment with Hannity and Dan Senor was horrific. How come Jon Stewart's researchers can point this stuff out over and over but there are never any repercussions and the hypocrites and liars never catch any heat? I wonder if the writers ever get depressed that they seem to have no effect.

The segment was brutal indeed.
I wonder if the people being shat on ever get to see these videos, and how they feel when they do. For example, that foreign affairs advisor from Romney, he's not on television 24/7, so he must have heard from his surroundings that a whole segment on the daily show was devoted to him, and perhaps, hopefully, he watched it.
I wonder if some of the people being called out ever get that overwhelming feeling of shame when they're shown their hypocrisy and idiocy. I'm sure people like Hannity don't, and perhaps this Romney advisor is in too deep as well to care. But some of the less high profile people, with still a shred of honesty and decency, have to be.
If one, only one, person has ever been embarrassed by themselves when they saw themselves on the daily show, it makes the whole program worth it.

I really like Wyatt, Asif, Jason and Al, but I think John Oliver and Sam Bee might be top tier.

Well, it doesn't work with conservatives, since they have already convinced themselves everyone in the show is a liar and meant for stoners (they don't actually watch the show, just the carefully edited clips on Fox News that sometimes make it seem like they are making fun of Obama).

Great episode tonight. I stayed up to watch him talk about Mittens. I find it funny his dad was on welfare and his mom said they were thankful for what it provided for them. Oh man the irony.

I'm probably alone in this but I find almost all the correspondent stuff to be terribly unfunny. I wish they cut out that part of the show altogether and gave more time for the interviews.

It's weird but some of them yell way too much.
John Oliver usually gets one normal sentence in before entering a shouting match, usually with Jon. Asif and Jessica are screaming their lines from their first word. I usually have to turn my TV down or just change the channel.
You can watch it on hulu in the morning.

Yah, my understanding is that swearing is limited more to not offend advertisers more than anything. Though I imagine companies advertising on Comedy Central know the audience they're advertising to
