I never get the Level 5 hate. I <3 them.

I think most of the time it's about poor story... They embody the very substance and meaning of "anime/jrpg cliche".

I'm only sad that it looks like WKC is going the same direction... they are welcome to surprise me.

And I find the cover art so-so. But then it works for marketing - it needs to sell after all, so emphasizing the white knight works.

Oh cool, NPCs have names.

I love that stuff. Sure, it probably doesn't actually add much to the game, but it makes the world seem a lot more alive for me personally.

hmmmm i was really sceptical of this game before (I've not touched a Level 5 game since i bought Dark Cloud) but those new screens of the environments look very charming and make the game seem like a lot of fun.

Honestly, those town shots have me more hyped than anything else seen on this game in about a year :lol I don't know why, they just look really charming and alive. Hoping this game goes well for importers/J-GAFers, so I can justify a purchase next year

Their games are too deep for some to understand ^_^

I've not played much of Level 5 games, but for me, Jeanne d'Arc and "deep" are pretty much polar opposites

I remember being pretty hyped about this game when the initial trailer came out for it. But I pretty much haven't seen anything since then. The game looks good though, and Level 5 has a pretty good track record. I'll keep my eye on it.

Cause you've played it, amiright? Looks fine to me. On par with most of what we've seen out of Japan sans MGS4. Still reserving final judgment until I can see it on my LCD instead of these cam shots, heh.

This game has fucking horrible character models. The Japanese equivalent of Oblivion.

That said, there's no doubt it'll be a good game since it's Level 5, but I am pretty disappointed in the art. The original unveiling of the game had far better character designs.

this game looks better and better everytime i check it out. i can't wait. its been a while since i've been geeked out with a jrpg release. i hope this one delivers.

i dunno about you guys, but im still struggling to get used to the "next gen" anime style characters in a really realistic looking background/environment. it just looks a little off to me. it looks like a bunch of anime toys moving in the real world. there's a little disconnect there for me. and dont get me wrong, i love anime and manga.
