Trump team in full on character assassination mode now, on CNN his proxy kept trying to push something she supposedly said to a judge in 98
Shiiiiieeeeeet, both Trump and Stern suck.
The "where did you find this... Where did you find this..." Is classic. Trump is used to getting his way and amateurs in the GOP Debate where "Where did you find this...?" would derail the accusation. Against the GOP field, when somebody brought up a point that painted Trump in a very critical light, Trump deflected and a comment like "Where did you find this?" would get the other person to give in to him and answer the question, which would then get Trump to deflect the accusation and focus the debate around the source of the accusation, instead of on him. Clinton was poised and prepared for that, and dismissed his interruption to just clearly finish her point, and it was a big win for her.
I don't know why this kind of thing surprises me anymore, but I wasn't expecting the 2:1 ratio of dislikes to likes.
"Where did you find this?"
He was shook.
Where did you get this? Where did you get this? You could tell Trump wasn't prepared for this.
Alicia was doing the rounds a few months ago in Spanish television telling us this Trump story.
I do love that this is something the Clinton team never mentioned before. Something they were saving for the debate. Something Donald clearly wasn't ready for. His "where did you hear that?" thing was the closest I've heard him to panicking. You'd have e thought Clinton stole these secrets from his vault.
And I can't wait to see what else they have ready for the next month and a half.

Bravo Clinton. This whole debate was like Ether.
I think this election is over.
The election is faaaaaar from over. As long as Trump has a megaphone at the ready to sell his bullshit there are a lot of Americans out there wanting to buy it.
i would bet $1000 right now Clinton is going to win. It's like a complete lock.
The "both sides" people lack empathy.
He got famous during an era where being a rich white douche somehow gave people a positive opinion of you.
CNN had a small panel discussing this earlier on Anderson Cooper... Boy, the delusional defense of Trump doing anything is beyond apology at this point. I don't even have the words for what Kayleigh McEnany was doing.

Saying "I'm an eating machine" as a defense is just... Fuck it. I can't.
They also had Machado on at some point:

Definitely, but I feel like it's even worse than this. The "both sides" people can admit that Trump is an absolute mad man, but they can't bring themselves to support the opposition on the sheer principle of it. To this group, previous elections were so much simpler because their de facto candidate (in other words, whoever their party of choice decided upon) was not as blatantly unacceptable, so towing the party line was as easy to justify internally.
Anecdotally, my own contemporaries and extended family who identify as Republicans or what we as a society perceive as "conservative" literally cannot cope with the options they're presented with. They don't want to be thought of as lunatics, as even the worst of them with the most antiquated ideals can in some way recognize what Trump is and don't wish to be associated with the insanity. That said, their most deeply held beliefs and general ignorance dictate that Hillary is essentially evil.
Half of my Facebook feed has devolved into "b-b-but what about Gary Johnson" because a large portion of these people absolutely refuse to entertain alternative viewpoints, and would rather circlejerk to baseless anti-Hillary rhetoric. I still have multiple conversations per week with people about the email "scandal".

it didn't stop him from doubling down on it on Fox & Friends yesterday morningNot that I'm justifying this in any manner (and I'm glad he's getting called out on it) but I feel like this also had a lot to do with what media and culture thought was acceptable treatment of women and body-image enforcement at the time, rather than Trump just being shitty.
Wait, what? Are you saying something Machado supposedly said in 1998 is irrelevant, but something Trump supposedly said in 1996 is? For real?
Hey, Trump undoubtedly berated her on her weight since she gained 50 lbs as Ms. Universe. On the surface, that sounds sexist. But this happened due to her representing a major beauty pageant. In sports, if your star player shows up to Spring Training 50 lbs overweight, it would be a serious problem. Athletes and models both rely on their fitness and physique as a profession. Obviously put: In a beauty pageant, looks matter.
She said Trump made her bulimic / anorexic... How horrible! Except when presented with a previous interview where Machado explicitly stated that she already suffered from eating disorders in order to compete and win the pageant in the first place, she had nothing credible to say. Here's a link to last night's Kelly File interview that shows this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DeGAV5A86w
She also has starred in hardcore porn, has a son that turned into a drug lord, and she apparently threatened to kill a judge. In other words, she does not seem credible at all to me. This is a Hannity link - which yeah I know - but her history of problems appear to be factual: http://www.hannity.com/articles/han...kes-trump-critic-alicia-machado-was-15152974/
IMO Hillary chose the wrong person in the debate to show Trump's sexism towards women. I still think I'm going to vote 3rd party - waste my vote to show my dissatisfaction. Because I try to see both sides to everything. And here, both sides suck.
Wait, what?

Wow - victim blaming and slut shaming in the same post. Good job. Bonus points for using right wing sources to support your post.

Which might be meaningful if his problem with her is that she had problems with the law.
But that's not the case. His problem was with her weight. Him staging a media event for her working out and telling the press "She weighed 118 or 117 pounds and went up to 160 or 170, so this is somebody that likes to eat." like she's some sort of livestock is one of the grossest things I've seen from him.
Except she was never in porn. You can't just cite shit made up by Hannity. She did Playboy, that's it, and even if she was in porn that doesn't excuse Trump's behavior.
The video of him bringing in reporters to watch her work out was horrifying. Trump and people who support him are inhuman pieces of shit
