Fuller.
Yup.Faceapp is racist as fuck
Yup.
Works best on caucasian features and tone.
FaceApp lightskinmaxxes eveyoneLightened my face and removed my black man freckles for all my pics apart from the original and smile one.
I would say its more just showing the systematic racism in society where without any social context and only given pictures it still recognizes Bias towards White people. To improve it they will have to not rely on the English Speaking web and have it look through images from African Webservers , Weibo and the like.Lightened my face and removed my black man freckles for all my pics apart from the original and smile one.
It lightened my skin a lot too and I'm just olive skinned so yeah...
Edit: when I downloaded the app this morning the 'spark' option was still available and now it's gone.

Something just occurred to me - old me reminds me of my dad, but female me is a younger version of my mum, but with straight hair. How is this possible?
Where did the spark option go? It honestly improved several pictures.
It's not that. I have straight hair myself, so a hypothetical female me would presumably have straight hair too. My mum has curly hair though, which is why I didn't see the resemblance at first. It does lighten female-me and old me's skin though, which is probably down to the bias in the AI.Most likely because the majority of women who the machine was trained on and who look similar to you have straight hair.

It was more like - how can I look so much like both of them at the same time? It's blowing my mind.

Old Kim is shockingly accurate. SHe's giving me Cher vibes.
That's how I would be if I had that much coke on my desk!I am pleased and satisfied with this quantity of coke.
It seems to have lightened the irises on the girl filter too. Blue eyes are hugely over represented in celebrities.Actually I notice it did the same for viciouskillersquirrel. I think this app has something against black color haired women lol.
Yeah this app is telling me I lost out on being born a malewhen your opposite sex version looks better than the real thing :[
These didn't turn out too well.Do some sibling actors and see if they match up on the reversals. Jake/Maggie Gyllenhaal, Joan/John Cusack, Patricia/David Arquette.

It's way easier to slap some long hair on top than to remove long hair. I honestly don't know why they made it tryThe female to male filter doesn't like hair.

I havent encountered irises change in my playing around but the Hair is super noticeable.
There really going to have to add some Asian actors in the machine or something along those lines to fix this as it's quite silly though I guess that a statement on hollywood as well.
Yeah this app is telling me I lost out on being born a male
It gives really consistent results no matter what picture I use. The machines are learning
Oh god no
Not posting pics but that hot filter was fucking brutal when I used it. I went up from like 2/10 to 7, subhuman to attractive. Ordered a bunch of moisturizer, sunblock, hydroquinone and kojic acid creams and I'm going to start applying that shit every day to get better skin. Also need to get my hands on a retinol prescription.
Why'd they remove it btw? I wanted to play with it again today with more pics but it was missing .
