Kid is brought up with a bunch of abused animals by his two-faced megalomaniac father, then flies abroad in disgust after said father sets him up as the legendary hero to satisfy his lust for power.

Fuck run-on sentences :(

Poketto Monsutaa Burakku to Howaito

Too easy?

Both the protagonists and antagonists spend most of the time raising cute fluffy pets, while fighting giant mutant lizards in space in their spare time.

The protagonist assists a rebellion against the oppressive, while regularly experiencing the effects of climate change.

You are sent to the depths of a subterranean alien stronghold, tasked with eliminating the rogue computer running it.

You are feudal Japan's pinball wizard.

And yet, I've never actually played Odama... at least I knew of it.

Right on both.

Here's another:

Two stories intertwine on an isolated tropical park: A scientist trying to make his way through deadly environments to escape the island, and a GOD-DAMN VELOCIRAPTOR!!! trying to eat him (and also escape the island)

I think somebody mixed up "spend most of the time" and "in their spare time" there.

Nope, that's definitely how it went. Anyway...

Middle-eastern prince uses time travel to save his kingdom... by playing card games.

Fallen angel wanders around in a world of bad puns and soulless party members to try to restore his homeland.

Hero rides a dinosaur to the moon to rescue kidnapped brother.

And now for some spoilerriffic ones (i.e. please don't post the game if you get it):

Grouchy old man builds a robot army to commit genocide against his neighbours because a deity wrecked his home town years ago.

Girl gets stuck on a sudoku puzzle so kidnaps someone to do it for her (as you do).

The hero's quest to build a mighty empire is constantly interrupted by the undead spawn of the night, exploding dicks, and giant firebreathing jellyfish.

Another one:

The game is a novel based on a character of a different game, asking players to solve a crime during the 80s.

Hint: It's a great, near perfect game.

Battles of Prince of Persia!

Nope.

A boy possesses an incredibly powerful artefact that can make the wielder's words into reality, so he makes zombie Cthulhu fight a giant T-Rex with lasers glued to its head while chilling on GAF with the game of the forever.

When you are forced into a murderous situation, you must make alliances and uncover the dark secrets behind the people you know, while dealing with your unusual ocular condition.
