You can still private chat, just no parties but it was like that before

I don't give a shit about these things as I refuse to spend a dime on it (or HOME for that matter). But the more we see of these, and other inventive ways of taking our money, I only hope that it leads a free online service in the upcoming gen...but I won't hold my breath.

By the way, I'm a "Level 6" according to my gamercard...what the hell does that mean??

No, people are quite happy to shill for free. Every time I look at my PSN friend's list, 90% of the little comments always have some variation of "OMG! <Latest exclusive game X> rocks!" (I only specify PSN because I do not notice this to nearly the same degree on XBL. Maybe it's just the friends I have on each, who knows, but with the avatar clothing maybe they will catch up in shill-factor.)

So here I was all proud that there's actually one game where I have all the achievements - Oblivion - but the page to show games with 100% completion is blank. 1250 GS, and it lists 60/50 achievements. Probably because it didn't display 60/60, the system doesn't read it as 100%. :lol

I think the initial buying of all these items is because people have small amounts of Microsoft points left in their accounts from previous purchases. I mean I have 160pts because I bought something on sale.
