That tile layout looks very basic I hope the customisation allows for larger tiles that stand out better as I can imagine that dashboard getting very full and cluttered in a few years.

Wow, I need to check my rewards. I don't use Bing as my regular search engine, but Bing is the greatest search engine ever...for porn.

Regarding it being taken down by the user: It was probably easier/ faster to call the parents of that idiot and have them make him take it down than it would be to have it removed for violations.

I doubt it was an orchestrated leak.

Hmm...not bad, not bad. I liked how the game kept playing while he was in the OS. I am one of the people who always liked Metro, but I don't know, I think I'm just getting bored by it. I need a little more color, a little more variety and graphics.

Hopefully it will go the 360 route and change it's whole interface a few times before i buy my xbone 2-3 years from release.

That who interface is just fucking awful to me.

Agreed. Somebody mentioned the PS4 has the same feature. I'm pretty interested to see how their version compares. MS is typically given the edge on things like this so I'm wondering how the new XMB (I guess it's not really an XMB anymore is it?) will function and if it can do it as seamlessly as the XB1 does it. It's a great feature and it looks like MS nailed it.

lol. Basically what I do is do a bunch of random searches on Bing until I get all the possible points for the day and then go back to Google. I dunno what it is about Bing. Just doesn't feel right.

I recently switched to Windows 8 on an SSD, it's fast as hell. But I hate the Metro UI and everything about it. I get that MS is unifying their PC/Tablet/Phone/Xbox interfaces, but I just find it so ugly. It's cool that you can have the game playing while going back into the UI though, that's a pretty sweet feature. And lol at "that thing's garbage" for Bing.

Yeah doable..just a hassle for a few points though.

Yeah it just feels...off. Has nothing to do with MS--maybe it's the font or the layout or just the familiarity with Google. But it definitely has something "off" about it.

So from this definition, your example of multitasking is exactly what we have been doing this whole gen.... I think some people want to see more, or improvements to that. Flipping from a game to movie then to the web browser for example.

Yeah it is annoying but It's cool to use for $5 amazon gift cards every now and then.

And your second point is pretty much how I feel. It's just different.

The pulling the dashboard up while the game was running looked cool, but I hate Metro on Windows 8 and this just looks like a take on that.

Bing works for me 90% of the time . Just like google works for me 90% of the time. But bing pays me. Right now you can get 1 point for every 2 searches so 15 points a day. So its 525 points for $5 at amazon. So every 33 days you get $5 bucks. However if you make gold its only 475 points for $5 so its 31 days. I think you can get 20 pints a day but the last 5 takes more searches per point.

I always hated how the Guide would run at a lower resolution than the actual dashboard. The heavily compressed Achievement icons pissed me off.

idk how everyone else feels but imo that dashboard looks freaking terrible!!! I hated the new dashboard update for the 360 and they are moving more and more towards something worse and trying to make it like Win 8 and the stupid windows phone interface, i mean does anyone really like it? Idk where they are getting that these are good ideas from lol
