Yep, got the update after going in the preview app.

Moving at super speed too. Probably for the first time ever on my Xbox.

Might not be the right place, I am not on the new update yet. But I am having issues unlocking achievements. I am connects to xbl but Gears of War UE keeps saying to connect to xbox live to unlock achievements.

Has anyone else had this issue?

So because I'm in Canada it doesn't allow Cortana functionality...but it doesn't disable it either. Cortana keeps popping up to tell me I can't access that yet lol

First impressions are pretty good. Store is laggy as hell, but the rest of the dashboard is snappier. There is still some jank here and there, but obviously due to how early this build is. I expect the end product to be completely smooth and snappy judging by this, which is better than the previous NXOE since there was still some jank when switching tabs and opening some stuff. Library is nice, I'll use medium size for everything because I believe that's the size of the pins, so it's nice and consistent. I really, really love the download progress stats, and I'm excited to see what other features they add.
E3 is just a few days away omg.

Hmm the game store still shows multiple versions of one game. I was under the impression they were going to fix this in this update. I guess I misunderstood.

Otherwise I am enjoying the update. Cortana is a little slow right now but she recognizes more than the Xbox previously had. I think they should give you the option of staying Hey Xbox or Hey Cortana kind of like the Amazon Echo/Alexis.

I asked her what her favorite game was and of course she said "Halo". She's a girl after my own heart. lol

i feel like cortana is just a bit slower to respond to commands like starting a game, but then again i can just say go to halo 5 and not halo 5: guardians

dont know which is better

I think the being able to say play Halo or Forza is way better. It'll absolutely get faster as we use it too.

thats true at least.
and can i just say kinect is great with cortana. picks my voice up no problem, no messy headset, always listening... the xbox update team is putting in work

It's amazing how much better the Kinect seems to listen now.

Ever since the NXOE it seemed like my Kinect was broken and was just ignoring me!

Just installed. Am I being stupid or has 'coming soon' disappeared from the store? I used to check that constantly, so hope it's not gone!

Cannot wait to see what they announce on Monday. This is really solid in fixing the issues I had with the store and my games and apps though in the store there isn't a spot for games coming soon anymore.

Got the update and downloading it now.

Scared the crap out of me though. Had the xbox off (instant-on mode enabled) and turned it on to check as other gaffers were posting they were receiving the update. Xbox turns on, and I am faced with the "There was a problem with the update. You need this update to use your console, but something went wrong.." screen. Clicked Try again. Nothing, same screen pops up. Try again, nothing. Check connection, all good. After a couple more useless try agains, did a hard reset. Thank god that fixed it.

Instant-on likes to mess things up.

halo 5 guardins becase master chief is a pretty cool guy who shot aleins and doesn't afraid of anything

I'm pretty sure it's because Cortana sends the voice commands back to the servers to parse them, whereas before the Kinect did all the work. It's the trade-off that's been made to allow you to use Cortana via the headset.

hmm. i dont suppose the Kinect could be updated to do more of the grunt work and help make that experience even better, can it? that would be pretty nice and it would help make the case for why is still relevant (even though its dead)

Would hope that the results are cached or at least stored online then sent to your console upon startup.
