Wait this has the full VF2 playable arcade game in this demo? What is it, a couple of stages? Timed? Whats the catch...........
Let clear this..Dragonzord were saying the child prostitution plot might not allow Kenzan to get to the west, I was just saying that SEGA left a long cutscene of a man touching a kid in Yakuza 4(which is in your face, not just hinted like in Kenzan).
so the child prostitution plot in Kenzan is not really an excuse to not get Yakuza Kenzan to the west ( they can cut or change that part of the story and no one will notice)in many JRPG localizations they change that sort of things.

This franchise is the very definition of same old crap, isn't it? I haven't played a Yakuza game since the second...this is exactly the same. :lol Some of the finishers are kinda funny/cool, but I really don't see the point.

If you are playing it for the fighting, then you probably should not bother.
They improve with each title, new locations, and pretty good plots. They add a lot to the side-stuff too.
You should replay 2 if you think this is exactly the same.

face buttons (right hand hit) & dpad (left hand hit) for red, shoulder buttons for blue, mashing buttons for yellow.

So wait I should be doing Face button, D-Pad, face button when I have a set of red dots approaching?
Not mainline. Also a launch game.
Also has child prostitution in it.
Has this been announced for the west or will I have to learn Japanese...
I dunno, the fighting didn't seem different. Although honestly I haven't played Y2 since it came out.

What's that? The other Haruka mini-quest was hilarious, though after I helped her out I wasn't sure what she wanted (my Japanese is pretty limited).
What's that?
Where is it?
I don't think Haruka is even in this City.

I also wonder what difficulty setting this game was on, seems easier than Yakuza 4 already. Don't think I got to fully explore the combat system, can't read any of the menus naturally.

Haruka(not the Haruka who's part of the main game, the npc who has the same name as her) is located west part of the city near underneath the bridge near the waterway(I think it's west). When you start the demo, instead of going to the direction where you are supposed to meet those two guys, go in the opposite direction towards the bridge. You should see a dialog box and a dog(pretty sure).
I'll edit this post whenever I play the demo again and have a better recollection in where it is.
I just played the drum arcade game. Hilarious.
I am terrible at it.
The girl in the dog sub quest is named Haruka. But that quest is not a funny one but with a serious tone. Kazuma also implied...gave us a vague hint why he and Haruka don't live together anymore in the conversation with the girl.
where is the arcade? im guessing this one-horse town doesn't have a Club Sega

It's something like "Look, a popular idol competition program on TV. I don't understand the parents who let their daughter to be an idol. I imagine those kids have to do some dirty stuff to get a job."Cool, what was the hint?
Also if you don't mind could you tell me what those two men were saying when Haruka was on TV, which got Kazuma mad.
Thanks.
Made a japanese account and downloading.
Man is it just the japanese store or was the old psn store this barren?
Not that much at all if you just want to fight or play the mini games. They also tell you where to go for the main mission. To know what's going on, then yeah, u need to know Japanese. You can play the Haruka sub quest and just guess in what to do easily. The student taking entrance exam sub quest requires you to know Japanese since the questions & answers are, well, in Japanese. My Japanese isn't that great but I got a 4 out of 5 when I first played it. I think I got the Japanese history question wrong...How playable is this demo without Japanese knowledge?
