So uh. Wasn't there this whole big deal during the SS arc about how they had to transform human bodies into reishi in order to allow them to travel into Soul Society through Urahara's gate? And now Chad and Orihime are just waltzin into SS through a garganta. Maybe they underwent that transformation when they first traveled to Hueco Mundo, I dunno, I forget. I seem to remember their arrival in HM being off-panel.
