I wish Mega Man 9 never came out. I don't want Capcom getting the idea of releasing mass DLC like Namco. Bionic Commando: Rearmed did everything right, they're even giving us trophies eventually.

What's up with the Yoda add-on already being up there?

I like that the Mega Man 9 stuff is so cheap, but in the end Capcom is just way too greedy with this stuff. Seriously, Monsters just got a new Hard Mode, free of charge. This Mega Man 9 was probably already done when the game came out.

Just a heads up. The update to pixeljunk monsters raped my save file.
I had rainbows on all levels.

Can't say that it matters that much anyways tbh since I can still play all trophy challenges and that's pretty much the only thing of interest to me now after beating the game before.

Yes, it's a remake of the original PoP, with new graphics, using characters models from Sands of Time, updating story slightly, and overall some new moves for Prince.

They also added this butterfly that flies around giving you hints where to go if you get lost.

It's just a HD remake, but with leaderboards and stuff.

I absolutely loved it. PSN supposed to be the same as the XBLA one, minus achievements.

It's been out on XBLA for a year. Plenty of reviews.

Reason you haven't heard anything on the PS3 front is their timed exclusivity to XBLA just ended. The exclusivity deal prevented them from announcing it for PSN.

Ah yes, as Jim mentioned, they added new things like leaderboards, checkpoints if you die, saving between levels, things like that to make it easier for new people. They also tightened up the Prince's movements and the controls.

ooh~ after the third level, the 360 version of PoP Classic ran at 30fps, the PSN one runs at 60fps, that's really nice, although it looks a bit brighter, it so needs a Brightness option.

edit: third level, not the second one.

PoP Classic is possibly THE best XLA game. I just love how smooth the game is, the perfect control, the cool extra moves you can do, the perfect length, the downloable ghosts to compete against, it's all you could ask for with a HD remake.

The game sounds great, but I really have to try it before I committ during these weeks. How similar/different is it to Burnout Paradise for example? I fucking LOVE BP.

360 version starts at 60 but eventually bogs down. The engine felt a little unoptimized, even though the game is not really all that complex. Unless they really tweaked it for the PS3, I'm not expecting it to be 100% 60fps throughout.
