"The darkness is upon us!" Lulu shouted. "Which of you shall fall today?"

The dolls thrust one among them in front of Lulu. "He's the one!" they shouted, "He MUST be a Warrior of Chaos!"

The poor doll stood and faced her with dignity, a spark of defiance dancing in his beady eyes.

"My days of darkness are behind me," he said, "But even so I do not fear death. Too bright a shine draws eyes of envy. Remember that well in my stead."

Lulu gazed upon the doll sadly. "Are you ready?" she asked.

"Guide my inner shadow..." he said bravely. "Light and dark above..."

Lulu charged a sphere of bright energy in her hand, and released it at the doll. It writhed and contorted for a brief moment, before ceasing all movement. The apparition of a knight clad head-to-toe in black rose from its lifeless body, and turned towards the other dolls.

"If my brother is among you, then I wish you only the best. I am sorry it had to be this way."

The darkness enveloped the colosseum, and the spirit vanished with the last traces of errant light.

GOLBEZ, THE EBONY KNIGHT, IS DEAD.

Welcome to the Colosseum, my doll.

The darkness finally cleared, and light returned to the colosseum once again.

"Hey, does anyone know a five-letter word for 'land or earth?'" said Lulu as she sat working on a crossword puzzle.

"Oh, looks like the darkness is finally gone," she said, tucking her quill behind her ear. "And it looks like everyone survived the night, too! Oops, well, except one of you."

One doll lay in pieces on the ground, torn apart by some dreadful force. From its ruins emerged a spirit of a man wielding a ridiculously large sword, who wailed in agony before being consumed by a blinding light.

Sorian, AKA Cloud Strife, The Ex-SOLDIER, is dead.

Welcome to the Colosseum, my doll.

You have been chose to house the soul of Cloud Strife, The Ex-SOLDIER.

You are aligned with The Warriors of Cosmos (the good guys, in other words).
