Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
As we march closer to number one for the newly formed DLC category here on SteamGAF, let's take a moment for a very special long distance dedication.

I think they assume that would never be a dealbreaker for anyone. :p

Without firendly fire in a beat em up, it's often way too effective to all stand in the same place.

You will never who what game has friendly fire and what game does not.
Battletoads arcade does not have Friendly Fire.
BATTLE FUCKING TOADS !

DLC #2

I'm sure everyone here knows what #1 is going to be....

Guys, relax.

Me and Jshackles usually rig the voting beforehand so your votes don't really matter.

This years winner is No Mans Sky.

Well deserved.

Hello Games was able to create a product that lived up to the hype and became one of the greatest achievements in video game history.

The difference in the score between #1 (101 pts) and #2 (13 pts) was absolutely staggering.

I suppose it's to be expected, since this is literally the game that spawned this category in the first place.

haha that's a hell of a gap between 1 and 2. No real surprise of course, not often DLC can basically be a GOTY-caliber game all by itself.

I'm curious what this category looks like a year from now. Does Paradox clean up with good expansions across 4 titles? Maybe XCOM 2 gets a proper expansion pack? Or perhaps the final Dark Souls 3 DLC is as fitting a send off for that series as Blood and Wine.

That actually makes me want it less >_>

I haven't played it, but why? Meaningful reactivity necessitates that content not be treated like something that is missed, but in defining your choices within the world. The Age of Decadence exemplified this.

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.

#1 - No Man's Sky - Space Exploration. Voted in by educated gaffers that looked at marketing materials and the hype of SonyGAF.

Rightful GOTY winner - I'm glad to see that we at least came to the right answer on this one.

1 | Witcher 3: Blood and Wine (101 Points / 2.89 APS)
2 | Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel (13 Points / 2.60 APS)

That's quite the gap in points!

Next up, I'll be counting down the top 5 Early Access games as voted by you.

Because of the ever-evolving nature of Early Access games, every game was eligible as long as it was still in Early Access as of the end of 2016 as long as it had an update last year.

So let's begin: our Early Access #5

Derp, I could've added a couple to my list in that case. Oh well, there's always next year!
