I seem to have stumbled into some sort of odd military sex fetish in the midst of playing this game on my iPhone called "mobile strike".

I downloaded mobile strike, a pay to win money guzzling game involving building bases, amassing armies, and clicking on timers.

Eventually I yield to temptation and throw down $100 because I'm a giant idiot. Then I power up more, blow through more speed ups, join an alliance, and suddenly in between attacking other bases, everybody's flirting in alliance chat about asses and dongs and whatnot. So I joined their little chat group in "Line" and suddenly I'm getting graphic sexts from ladies looking for god only knows what and I'm pretty sure that one of them now one of them wants to meet me in real life and quite frankly I'm starting to become scared for my well being.

There's downright salaciousness going down in this game. Because the game prying money from me wasn't bad enough, there are also predatory harpies lurking everywhere in the community. They want to steal my very essence and I find that disconcerting.

Has anyone else had a similar experience playing "mobile strike"?

If I were going to try to pretend to be a woman and exploit someone's gullibility, I would definitely target a demographic of young men who have proven their own gullibility by spending $100 on a mobile game.

This. And like someone above mentioned it could be a bot, Machine Zone is pretty well know for doing some nefarious shit.

10 years ago I might have. But I'm a married man now who got sucked into this rabbit hole of a game. The game itself is horrifically addicting and to make it worse, there's this meta community of primarily ladies who keep sexting me.

I know, it's not strictly normal behavior but the drive to spend money on the game somehow brings out ones inner lust as well. The game is evil, so very evil.

Also, just quit now. I'm guessing you have some things to work on if you get addicted one of these games and did not turn away from it the second you got one of those texts.

This is probably that scam to get you to do something stupid on cam, record it and blackmail you into sending a lot of money or else they will send the videos to everyone you know. They're also good at using prerecorded videos and syncing up replies to make you think you're chatting with a real person.

It's a 100% real person. I listened to her filling out her tax returns while we chatted. These are real people seeking the company of others....
