Ok, long toss in Oddball sounds super fucking cool. A nice addition to mix up the gametype. Sounds like it could be abused but I'm hoping for the best lol

Was there anything even spoilerish in that ViDoc. Master Chief and Cortana exist, Cortana is going crazy, there are some military looking humans in the game. Same as you knew months ago.

The only thing I'd consider a bit of a spoiler is
Chief's plan to find Halsey
, but it seems to be from really early in the game.

There is a countdown on the flag navpoint for when it will reset.
When you run over someone, you get a road trip medal. All vehicle occupants get the medal.

Banshee changes: tricks slowed down. Plasma cannon a little more effective.
Secondary turret on tank had been beefed up as has the standard gun on banshee. Reasoning is one can loadout with plasma pistol
Scorpian time! Scorpian handles a little more like halo 3 as opposed to reach.
Oddball now. Auto pick up for bomb and holy hell can you throw that thing! Demo player just got a medal for a "Long Bomb".
Comparable to a grenade throw. Bomb assassinations incinerate player.
They are showing the throwing mechanic for oddball! You can pass it far.
The oddball is a beautiful glowing skull.

Grifball has just been announced ladies and gentleman. Grifball is in Halo 4, and I'm watching it.

No rounds in grifball. Bomb immediately resets in center and play resumes.
Can either pass the grifball or hammer it down court.
If you hammer the runner, the ball goes flying, if you sword the runner, you get the ball

Steve Downes talking about how Master chief had emotional progression through the first three games had me rolling my eyes.

Other than that the Vidoc was pretty awesome. 343's art team wipes the floor with the guys at Bungie. Other than some dumb looking helmets everything looks freaking great.

Whew. I'm glad we got all that Grifball info! The lack of it was burning me alive. I would have hated for that time to be spent on classic gametypes or weapon balance or other boring stuff.

I'm glad 343 seems to be capitalizing on Halo's story potential. Always thought Bungie had the most boring and shallow cinematics/story arcs ever in their campaigns. Art looks much better too. I think this is the first Halo campaign since CE that I actually want to play, usually I just want to jump into multiplayer immediately.

Also Cortana looks really good.

This picture is bumming me out. The Prom Knights used to look really interesting and even vaguely Forerunner-ish (minus the stupid Decepticon monster robot face). This actually looks like something that was designed for a specific purpose, like something you would mass produce and put in storage.
They had such a cool, weird design and they somehow ended up with the Spawn-faced Doom 3 demon bot with Rayman limbs? I just don't get it.

I was thinking the same thing. The realistic nakedness does not fit well with her new fragile, victim-like demeanor. It looks creepy in a way that doesn't seem like it was intended.
She also looks a bit like an airhead, making her scenes appear a bit too porny. Probably for the first time, which is an achievement for a character whose butt crack was on full display since the franchise's inception.

wat. She looks like a sexy chick, which is what she's supposed to look like. Halo is a space opera not super dark and serious.
