Extra costumes or scenarios for those who don't want to grind money or EXP are things I'm totally OK with. Heck, I'd even take some small extra side stories. If they do a DLC Social Link, though, I'll be a very sad person.

I couldn't care less about Pay to Win DLC for single player games. If someone wants to pay for something that they think is worth it and it doesn't effect me at all, I don't care. If the game is completely playable as it's sold, anything else does not matter.

*"Busy" in this usage means lazy and no comprehension of aesthetics.

**"Just wants to see the story" in this usage means can't strategize their way out of a wet paper bag and has no love for gameplay.

There's some new DLC coming, and it actually seems to involve new material. The first will be released on 6/27 and the second will be 7/4. I guess there isn't any this week? Anyway, both missions involve fighting brand new bosses as well as being able to fuse them afterwards. Even though these bosses are new to the game, the context is not and even people who do not speaking Japanese will be able to see spoilers.

So, well, it's not great, but it's a bit better than "oh hey have some armor/here have some grinding material."

Did you check out the last two challenge DLCs btw? I didn't post about them, but they seemed pretty damn iffy. Basically it looks like they broke down a 4 boss quest into a 2 part DLC, one going for 250yen and one for 350yen. If you beat the bosses you get to fuse them (2 per DLC), and if you beat all 4 you unlock one more special demon fusion. 5 demons for 6 bucks basically.

The new DLC being announced here sounds similar, but only with 1 demon each. Do you have any idea if these boss DLCs even have new dungeon areas?

It's not clear. I wouldn't think so (because effort), and if it does the new dungeon areas will almost certainly just be generic Domain/Kekkai types (because effort).

There's new demons instead of palette swaps but it seems as useless as the others...
Certainly no new dungeons (apparently the first one is located in
Pluto's palace :/
) and new demons is not really important when you already have around 400 to chose from.
I bought the one with
the first 2 archangels
and I regret it: teleportation, 10 lines of text with NPC, teleportation, easy boss, another easy boss, another bit of text with NPC, end :( :( :(
