Full metal panic sigma END

Finally, we get to see the ending. I've got a few issues
like the involvement of kalinin not feeling fully developed, kurz suddenly coming back to life (though that was great as well), and I find the two goddesses arguing about changing time to be somewhat goofy,
but what needed to happen happened at the end and that's all I wanted.

200 characters are quite overkill, I could only manage a third in the time, especially when some of the variant spellings are not excepted. But fun game.

I managed 90, but even with the ones I could picture in my head but couldn't place their name, I would've barely scratched 100.

Kuroko no Basket 246

That halftime was shorter than I thought it was going to be. Hyuga and Kagami are now the ones to keep Seirin alive and Akashi already knows that.

Seems like we should expect more of Rakuzan beating on Seirin for a couple of chapters more.

If Seirin is suppose to win they should be showing a little more fight or something.

I sort have a feeling the manga author won't let Seirin win now. Maybe a way to prolong the story I guess.
I don't know how there are going to beat Akashi. His downfall will have to be him underestimating Kuroko and ultimate teamwork.

BatDan

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.

Some of these get stupid obscure, like a couple members of the Franky Family, one of the Punk Hazard kids, or the name of Nami's doctor on Cocoyashi Village. Pretty sure some of these weren't even named in the manga, but data books.

Beelzebub vol.16-17

I like Beelzebub better when it has less demons and more delinquents. And volume 17 pretty much confirmed that the comedy is what makes Beelzebub great, thank god the fights aren't long.

It's been 8 years since I last read/watched FMP / FMP Fumoffu & the third anime series, I've never read Sigma if I recall correctly, does it take off right at the end of the third anime ?
First FMP manga = first FMP anime + Fumoffu
Sigma = 2nd Raid + continuation. It has the ending to the series.

Kotonoba Drive

OMG OMG another Ashinano Hitoshi (Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, kabu no isaki) scanlation! Awesome, simply awesome.

Immediate themes: scenery porn and motorbike porn. Yep, definitely by the same guy.

Just love this guy's work. He's so good at using lines to create such evocative and beautiful sceneries.

I guess it started interesting but having all 3 girls fall for him just turns it into a normal harem comedy so i guess its good that its ending

Steel Ball Run vol.6

Pretty great volume, one of the best ones so far. The fight against Dinosaur Dio is quite good, I really wonder how they can defeat him now that he stole the eyes heh

Full Metal Panic Sigma v19 (end)
ibsFAtY1bH7c4o.jpg

My thought exactly.

But really, that was one of the few disgustingly happy endings which I for some reasom don't mind at all, like the FMA ending for example. It feels so good to see FMP getting concluded, I don't even care that much for an anime sequel anymore, unless it's Fumoffu 2.

Fullbring arc started out soooo good. I think its the ending that mainly made people sour on it.

It was a catch 22 for Kubo I think.

Bleach's ranking tanked until the end where the shinigamis came back.

Japan loved the ending of the Fullbring arc, got Bleach #1 ranking for that week actually.

Meanwhile here in US, most of didn't like it at the end but the beginning was great.

Same thing happened with Kubo's last manga Zombie Powder. Super popular here but was crap in Japan so it was canceled.

Hope Final arc manages to appeal to both sides this time around.

Bleach still sells more than Toriko so I think Kubo can take it easy on finishing it.

Losing Naruto and Bleach in the same year would be a huge blow to Jump's profits. I think Naruto will end first unless Kishi drags out another 40 chapters.

Bleach I think should end in late 2015 because Ichigo's name and the symbolism. That and I think killing Bach will take a year or so.

Bleach won't be ending in 2015. There aren't enough Sternritter left for each and every good guy that's worth a damn even for a one-on-one fight.

Which is why I say the Sternritter are just red herrings.

Full Metal Panic! Sigma
I actually started this series very late (2012 I think) and I've never watched the anime, so the wait was certainly much more bearable for me. Ending was quite predictable but in a good way, except the part where
Kurz just appears like nothing happened. I really thought that he was dead.
.

One less manga from my hiatus\no scans list.

I thought the twist was not surprising at all as I saw it coming several volumes ago, it was just a matter of time when he would make an appearance again. Not to say that I like it though but to be fair, the manga was pretty self-aware so it was not that big of a deal for me.

Sternritters aren't the only enemies in Bleach. ;)

Kubo himself said that the Quincy aren't the only enemies making an appearance in this arc in an interview.

We still have some characters to reintroduce. Lets see what happens by August.

On average a manga artist makes about 42-50 chapters a year depending on breaks and holidays or specials. I doubt Bleach could end in the next 42 chapters with so many characters still missing. Ichigo is still heading to the main Battlefield, also got about 18 more Sternritters and the people from Hueco Mundo.

Naruto can end since Madara is/should be the last boss but again that depends on Kishi willing to finish it or not.

I didn't really saw it coming, probably because I blazed through that part. It annoyed me a little but it's not really a big deal.

I also just discovered that there's some kind of sequel called Full Metal Panic! Another. Anyone here knows something more than the synopsis on MangaUpdates?

I think it was mentioned that Naruto was supposed to end with Naruto vs Sasuke.

Was Kandachime canned indefinitely? Or on a very extended hiatus due to the author's personal issues? Far from a masterpiece, but you can't call that an ending.

With Yhwach needing them to die in order to get more powerful, highly doubt we'd need to see fights of these characters at all. Cant see it lasting into 2015.

I can see Bleach ending very late 2014 honestly but I hope Kubo extends it a bit more to fresh out some of his older characters and to tie up some more loose ends such as Grimmjow and the hollows along with some deaths thrown in of the older captains.

Didn't ZombiePowder end due to Kubo's depression/some illness? I'm fairly certain it wasn't just canned. If I recall it's mentioned in the last volume.

I thought that Kandachime really ended but the page on MangaUpdates says that it's on hiatus.

The scanlator seems to doubt that it will return though.

I was at a barnes and noble today, and looked at their manga section. My shop really must have been like a mecca for people, the selection at this B&N was fairly sad with tons of missing volumes and lots of beat up stuff.

Oh man, this would have been me if these hadn't been released at the same time. Still don't know whether I can hope for non-tragedy with this series, but it's so good regardless.
