I'm tempted to get this. GoGamer has it for $35 on PC.
That's actually what some parts of Manhattan look like... See http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/m/x/mxk5088/cab_qjpreviewth.jpg , http://www.opentravelinfo.com/north_america/u_s_a/new_york/new_york_cabs , http://www.touchnote.com/photo/card-design/New+York+Cabs .Jugendstil said:Yikes. That video was kinda bad. I mean, the game play looks potentially entertaining, but the city couldn't be anymore generic and bland. Why the hell are there so many taxis on the street in that one section?
Dead said:Apparently if you buy the game at Toys'r'us this week, you get a $20 gift card free
newsguy said:What? I for one thought the plot to both of these games was engrossing. How could you overlook the little girl who lost her balloon? What about the army's plan to destroy the Hulk? Just because it had Ultimate Destruction in the title and let you wear FUCKING CARS AS BOXING GLOVES doesn't mean I didn't shed a tear at the end.
hey, that's Manhattan!Mutagenic said:I'll get lost in that city. Everything looks similar and generic.
Annoying Old Party Man said:Ok, i moved a little forward into the game.
The action is quite entertaining, it is really hectic at some points and the powers are cool.
Still, the A.I. is really dumb, and you kind of feel like you are playing with a game that came out one or two years ago.
And they kept that annoying thing where you immediately start jumping as soon as you fall into the water. I hate this thing.

Karma said::lol Radical Entertainment took over 20,000 pictures of New York City to capture the feel of the City.
Gantz said:Sounds no different than Infamous except the hectic part.
Yes I just picked up Infamous for cheap. Playing through the first island now. Holy shit it's repetitive! My friend insists I keep at it. I also keep trying to climb on chain link fences to my dismay of not being to climb on them. So annoying.
AltogetherAndrews said:Another Hulk leftover? I guess you can't fault a studio for wanting to use its most successful tools, but it is starting to look more like a redo with a new character than a serious evolution of the formula.

Karma said:New York is not generic or bland. It has a very distinctive look.
It looks like a city assembled from photographs. Flat.Karma said:Radical Entertainment took over 20,000 pictures of New York to capture the feel of the City.
AltogetherAndrews said:I'm sure it is. New York in Prototype, on the other hand, does look bland. Flat, muddy and dusty.

As much as I adore Crackdown, I've got to say that because of the controls and platforming and overall polish, inFamous took that crown for me.Mamesj said:was hoping this would be a surprise hit, guess that's not happening. Crackdown is still king of "sandbox with superpowers" games.
SanjuroTsubaki said:Also, what is the status with the co-op with this game? Even as a 7.5 game full online co-op could be very fun much like Crackdown.
I will kill you messenger.Tomcat said:The framerate on the 360 version is smooth. Yes the graphics are mediocre but there is a lot of mayhem going on
There is no co-op or online modes

It's definitely a bad sign when there aren't any impressions at all of that version. :/
I demand proof in the form of Gamertags.Broadbandito said:I actually just started reading some other forums from people that supposedly beat it and said main missions take 5-10 hours.. Lame

Weeks back everyone was saying "Prototype looks so much better than inFamous."
Now I come in here and read these impressions...

Hawt dang. Man, I don't care if the game looks a bit bland as long as it's a blast to play.Coin Return said:
