So, after finishing the abysmal Sonic Blast I decided to give Tails' Sky Patrol a try. And... it's not bad. I mean, like the other Tails game for Game Gear it's a little rough around the edges, but it's at least an interesting, unique little game. It's weird because Tails' Adventure seems like it's probably the best of the Game Gear Sonic lot, and this is actually not really terrible in any noteworthy way (well, maybe those spawning blocks. And also enemy variety... why are there skeletons on the airship?) And that's more than I can say for most of the Sonic games for the thing. Also, for some reason the thought that kept coming to my mind while playing this is that it'd make a pretty cool little iPhone game.

But yeah, a decent little game, and I'm finally almost at the end of the tunnel with these Game Gear games!

This one's generally considered to be not that great, which is probably why it was only released in Japan on the GG.
