crossbow training looks pretty fun, especially for 20 bones.

EDIT, I'd just like to add that Galaxy will be the greatest Mario ever conceived.

God the format of those official Nintendo trailers is terrible :(

Seeing the grinning family members play BWii was not what I expected... that game also doesn't look as fun as I'd initially hoped... I need to see more now, whereas I was sold before the trailer.

Mario Galaxy still looks great though

Are we going to get hands on for BWii? Looks great but I'll be worried if NOA didn't let people put their mitts on it and report how it controlled.

they really need to change the artwork for link's face in the score counter, it looks like a really bad fan art

Yeah it really does look strange. That's the only complaint I have about the screens I've seen.

No Donkey kong in Mario Party DS? fail

BWii trailer is a real turnoff..Family and gramps playing together? Ugh..:lol

Cant wait to see the Smash bros family trailer !!! :lol :lol

Advance Wars: Days of Ruin boasts a feature set that should have fans excited. Wi-fi multiplayer battles over the Nintendo Wi-fi Connection are finally here, bringing voice chat with them. Also coming is the tentatively titled Map Center making map creation and sharing a worldwide affair. Players can take their map designs, upload them, and rate and download others via the Map Center adding hundreds of maps to the 170 already included.

It's even worse when people just put screens of it in entirely inappropriate threads. I'm still pissed at the fucker that inserted a bunch of Galaxy media in the Fire Emblem DS thread.

Yeah that would piss me off, too.

It shouldn't come as a surprise that Super Mario Galaxy is tremendously fun to play and clearly a first-day must-buy for any Wii owner. It's the best looking Wii game to date and plays like a dream. Whether you're surfing a manta ray on a tube of water in the Loopdeeloop Galaxy or flipping switches like mad in the Flipswitch Galaxy, there isn't a moment of the game that doesn't exude polish. Moments of 2D platformer gameplay add to the joy. In short, Galaxy reinstates faith in Mario platforming where Sunshine disappointed. In Super Mario Galaxy, the plumber is at the top of his game.

ALL impressions are 100% positive. I'm waiting for Gamespot. IF they try to.....BANG !

This is mostly because the action feels so perfect, as only Mario games seem to. Is Nintendo just one of the only developers left who will sink years and years into a family-friendly action game like this and make it feel spot-on? Everything from the backflips to the Goomba-stomping is thoroughly entertaining, and Galaxy doesn't shy away from throwing some curveball challenges at you even early on.

Shacknews said:
Super Mario Galaxy is a wonderful, and wondrous, gameplay explosion. It is a much-needed return to form for marquee Mario games--not slick and playable but unsurprising, like New Super Mario Bros., or ambitious in slightly misguided ways, like Super Mario Sunshine, but a joyously fresh and ambitious experience that is also eminently slick and playable. I was able to check out numerous levels from the game during Nintendo's recent fall summit in San Francisco.

Neutral is perfect. What I want is objectivity. But not bullshits like with Metroid III or Twilight Princess or Bioshock please.
You're talking about reviews though, these are all previews.

why do you want anything except SMG. You shouldn't even care about previews for SMG. SMG will be the greatest Mario game ever, FACT.

As long as we're doing this...

SMS:SM64 as SMB2:SMB?

Not exactly. Neither the US nor Japanese editions really fit in the latter half of that analogy, and I can't think of anything that does. Sunshine is a bit of an odd duck.

Gamespot's previews tend to be neutral to the point of blandness.
Mario is controlled by moving the analog stick and pressing buttons. Pointing the Wii Remote lets you shoot things with collected stars. He jumps around floating objects in space, although there are other environments. The story involves Princess Peach being kidnapped by Bowser. The game is very colorful, and runs at 480p and 16:9.

Super Mario Galaxy releases November 12th for the Wii console.
