I was worried about this but now I might just buy it.

Pain - [6]
Soul Calibur Legends - [2]

That cuts deep into Namco's wounds. Really, Namco should outsource their action adventure titles to Capcom and Capcom should outsource their 3d fighters to Namco.

No More Heroes - [9]
What pisses me off more is that I still cannot find a Wii.

Wat? No more heroes scores above BioShock?

This is Edge. NMH must be darn good though.

And I wasn't expecting a 9 from Edge for Paradise, I was expecting an 8 max. Looks like I'll be picking it up next week after all (the superior PS3 version, of course!)

killer 7 was a lot of things.

average was not one of them.

You could argue that the gameplay sucked, sure. I can understand why people find the game interesting and such, but the gameplay by itself? No way. It's more a case of interesting premise you want to see inspite of poor gameplay mechanics.

EDIT: And I do think it's a good thing that the game it out there, just to shake things up a bit.

And a scan of the cover (found on gamesradar)

UK bias. ;)

That said, I'm surprised The Club didn't manage an 8? Bizarre's one of EGDE's developer darlings and all their previews were exceedingly complimentary...

not one mention of this?

NMH must buy then?
this is just confirmation of that fact i'd say... but i'm talking as someone who liked Killer 7.

Killer 7 is definately one of the most devisive games made. it's so off the wall and different that it provokes strong reactions. it's controls, it's graphics, it's story, it's gameplay... are all bizarre. you really have no way of knowing going in if you'll like it.

NMH looks a lot more accessible, but i wouldn't be surprised if it was also a love/hate kind of game and this is a review from someone on the love side.

i'm expecting it to be the next God Hand in these parts. guess we'll find out next week. watch the first ten minutes on gamersyde.com and that should give you a good idea.
