Boss Doggie

all my loli wolf companions are so moe
Anyone watched the series back then? Quite a fun show. Kinda sad that the revival started decent but slowly became crap.

Season 2 was definitely my fave, as it has most of my favorite episodes and some of the memorable ones. Season 3 had a decent start, but sadly the characters drifted to stock and were flanderized.

And gotta love Justice Friends and Dial M for Monkey.

Dexters story >Justice Friends > Dial M for Monkey.

Used to love this show, remember some season finale or something where there was this huge robot fight in Japan or something.

Did the voice actors change at some point? I remember watching a later episode and it just felt "off"

Didn't the whole style of it change??

I just remember one episode where dexter kept saying "You are stuppppid"q

That was the episode written by a five year old who won the Dexter's Lab write your own episode contest. I found it hilarious...

Um...yeeeeeeeah. I was out of highschool when this show started. No wonder I'm always providing a contrary opinion to the GAF-consensus. I'm part of a community mostly made up of people literally from a different generation. It's like trying to espouse the virtues of disco in the mid-80s. All you youngn's need to listen to your elders!

A friend actually has all the episodes taped. I watched season 1 and 2 a few months ago, when the style changed with 3 I stopped bothering. Not only the style but them changing the locations a lot more and stuff going around the house more made it stupid.

I love all the CN short cartoons. Ed Edd n Eddy was another favorite.

Its no Samurai Jack and I prefer Clone Wars to it, but it was still a great cartoon. Tartakovsky is a genius. Hope he eventually does that SJ movie.

This series is second only to Powerpuff Girls... which reminds me, I bought PPG the complete series on DVD, but where the hell is Dexter's Lab? I want the complete series damn it!

I remember that, that was awesome.

This made me curious about his recent work, only to find Sym-Bionic Titan!

Yay!

My favourite episode of Dexter's Laboratory was one where a dog gets a voice and it was mostly made up of a dog shouting "Hey, I'm a Dog!".

I think I did too many drugs while watching Cartoon Network in the 90s.

Ah yes, drug-induced cartoon episode Dexter and Computress Get Mandark.

The season 2 finale, where the whole episode is 30 mins long, involves having cameos of Monkey and JF, along with Super Robot-reference.

Season 3 was made years after Season 2, mind you. The plan was that the series would end at Season 2.

I loved this show, along with Ed, Edd, and Eddy.

I miss a lot of old CN shows...

That's actually my favorite episode. :D

My personal favorites are the one where the only phrase he can say is "cheese omelette" in french and the one where his robotic parrot gets free and destroys his father's psyche.

WTF!

Dial M for Monkey is awesome! The one you are talking about is where the parents come and help, they form like a power ranger robot or something.

this is a good episode :lol

Just looked up on wikipedia, I had no idea this show continued on past the giant robot episode and Ego Trip--and with a completely different production team. I'm glad I had lost interest in CN by that point.

And this is probably why there still isn't a box set on DVD yet.

I used to love the D&D episode;

"And what happened with the wizard zapping everyone?"
"Oh, he's over."
"Over what?"
"Zapping."

"So...you're walking along...."
*time passes*
"AND?"
"Oh, um....a dragon appears."

"Use your special skill!!!"
"BURROWING?"

"Yup, yup, that's a big 'un"

"The Florida Everglades!"

srsly, this along with 2 stupid dogs were my most watched CN shows, still remember so many episodes and quotes.

wow I didn't know Cartoon Network had full episodes of the show on their site

I just watched my favorite episode :lol . The one where DeeDee finds a Sasquatch.

One of my favorite lines (complete with non-fading echo):

"HEY EVERYBODY! DEXTER'S RUNNING AROUND IN HIS UNDERPANTS!"

"UNDERPANTS!"

"UNDERPANTS!"

"UNDERPANTS!"

Dexter also had some awesome sound effects. I always loved the lens flare. :lol

Yeah, it was just terrible after that. Same thing happened to the Powepuff Girls.

The best episodes were the musical episode and the one where all Dexter knew how to say was "omelette du fromage". :lol

Brilliant show Dexter's Lab was.

Hydroxyl in chemistry stands for a molecule consisting of an oxygen atom and a hydrogen atom connected by a covalent bond (single bond). The neutral form is a hydroxyl radical and the hydroxyl anion is called a hydroxide. When the oxygen atom is linked to a larger molecule the hydroxyl group is a functional group (OH) . Hydroxide (HOÂŻ or ÂŻOH anion) is a polyatomic ion with a charge of negative one. Hydroxide anion is a base and is used to make solutions or compounds basic.

It's all I've got. =/ Chemist-GAF, help.

I don't remember what the episode was exactly, something about tall tales, but Dexter and DeeDee are talking to some character that's a bagpipe with three heads and one of them says something like,

"Oi, Douglass, ye' got something hangin' out yer taunter."

when it's DeeDee hanging out by her hair like Rapunzel. Always made me laugh. :lol :lol

My dad and I absolutely LOVED this show until they fucked it up with Season 3. :)

That was the episode where Dee Dee was sick and Dexter was forced to read her a story.

Yeah, the whole thing can be explained with Dee Dee and the three pigs escaping from the Ness monster's hole.

And wasn't the Ness monster's name Silly-ness, Grumpy-ness, and Sleepy-ness?

I fucking love this cartoon, one of the greatest ever. I basically have every episode memorized and I still enjoy watching it. After GT left the style and VA's changed and it went to shit.

GT is such a fucking genius, this and Samurai Jack are amazingly enjoyable and rewatchable without getting bored. Why did Samurai Jack get cancelled? And what happened to the feature film he was planning?

What was the name of that Dee Dee's creature friend, think it was Coos Coos the Gupalagupaloop or something like that

Oh and, the episode where Dexter's family go all power rangers with cameos from Monkey and Major Glory is the final episode as long as I'm concerned.

I loved Dexter lab, wasn't a fan of the post S2 stuff though. Always loved the episode where the family didn't let Dexter watch TV at night until he grows up, so he uses a machine to grow up but he grows too old, and then he becomes slow as fuck and starts forgetting about everything :lol

And of course, omelette du fromage and the talking dog are awesome episodes

the best one was the Justice Friends/Monkey episode with the intergalactic wresting championship and the Macho Man Randy Savage alien putting the smackdown on the universe.

I need to watch that right the fuck now.

"Hey puppet pal Clement! Those are some mighty sexy jeans."
"Thanks, puppet pal Mitch. You also look hot in your new jeans."
