One of my all time favorite shows (along with Samurai Jack), thanks for reminding me that I need to go back and watch it.
 
I have the first two seasons in my PC. <3

It's quite a shame that the series won't get a DVD release :(
 
:lol :lol Reading all of these quotes makes me remember the content quite vividly... although i couldn't think of anything off the top of my head you guys are really bringing it all back to me. Great show.

I remember one episode that was really great. There was no talking, and it was about a big fight between Dexter and the skinny rival. There was not a single word spoken.

I also remember during that episode, when they chewed, the sound they made was "chew chew chew"

The coffee episode is my favorite.

I always wondered if it was before or after Requiem for a Dream?

DVD season sets are out in Region 4.

Maybe we'll get a Complete Series box here like The Powerpuff Girls?
 
My favorite episode has got to be the dungeons and dragons episode or the star trek episode. Even though I don't care for D&D and hate star trek, those episodes clicked with me. Maybe because it showed Dexters friends.

I could never say that any of the episodes were my favorites because I like them all far too much. Some of the veterans in this thread have already covered the awesome moments from the show, but I'm so surprised that no one mentioned the instance with the flying suit that Deedee stole. :lol

Dexter creates all this hot ass flying shit to catch Deedee who's floating about in nothing more than a large balloon suit and each and every time he gets it all blown up and falls complete with Wile Y. Coyote-esque fall sequence. :lol

Also, the episode with Dexter trying to get a superpower was class. I cannot watch the part with him dangling from the ceiling trying to watch the movie his parents were and not crack a smile:

Dad: "HONEY! THERE IS A SPIDER ON YOUR HEAD!"
Mom: *Bugging out* "GETITOFFGETITOFFGETITOFFGETITOFF!"

Seeing SpiderDex on the floor twitching like that is just too hilarious to me and lets not forget, "FLAME ON!" :lol

I still get some of the musical episode ditties stuck in my head to this day.

The first two seasons were amazing. I remember liking some of the post-season two skits, like an episode with no dialogue and only had Mandark's "beat" repeating in different things, but overall I couldn't get over the terrible new style. At the time I thought there was something wrong with me.

I didn't think about it until I was older (18?) but i fucking LOLed at this.
 
Fuck, i just thought of a great episode that i havent seen in years. Its the one where dee dee was watching hip hop junction and learned the running man, then proceeded to annoy dexter by getting him to watch her do it. It was such an awesome episode

Bah I spent so long trying to find a pic of the dad with his head sticking out of the ground so I could quote that. I couldn't though :(

Yeah, Dee Dee annoys him until he finally gives up. He ends up liking Dee Dee's dance.
