Yes, it was the recap episode that we were all praising.

So you're saying that the dolls don't exist in any of the other episodes?

There's no stupid "alice game" going on?

Shinku suddenly does a 180 and isn't one of the worst characters ever written?

All of that was limited just to this one episode?

Its actually became slice-of-life of low-class man for most part, so yeah?

Funimation got the home video rights for:

Date A Live
Red Data Girl (DVD Only)
Karneval
Code Breaker

edit: All 4 will get dubbed.

Glad to hear more license announcements, but no Minami-ke yet again. All these series are from either Fall '12 or Spring '13, so Minami-ke's Winter '13 slot was skipped right over. I would gladly take a sub-only release as no one can replace the Minami sisters' Japanese voice cast in my opinion.

Why don't you actually watch it instead of throwing a fit and calling something the absolute worst based on a recap episode?

Finally starting to get some time to put a dent into my backlog.

Date a Live: 08

Hmm... looks about 3 o'clock to me.

If this episode taught me anything, its to not try to date 3 people at the same time. Things get messy, especially if one is a murderous psychopath.

Thats why you dump all the others and go for the glorious yandere (if youre an anime guy)

All that broom goodness <3
It rubs~
I think that was the video that convinced me to finally watch Strike Witches.

I'm watching three (four if we're counting HappinessCharge) Precure series at the moment, what's one more little girl show?
I thought it was just Suite, Futari and HapCha. What else was there?

yes season 2.
Also I couldnt resist putting Sanya in my avatar. Its been a long time overdue.
You've done well.

Golden Time 19

Now all the drama revolves around Mitsuo.
I think his relationship with Linda is doomed. She's not over Banri, Chinami's jealously is now causing conflict, and there's going to be fallout for Banri not telling his friends about Linda. It'll probably get ugly. And there's a ghost just waiting to mess things up even more.

As much as I think that Linda won't end up with Mitsuo, I'm still rooting for it. Sure chances are Linda still has feelings for Banri as those won't disappear simply because he has a steady girlfriend now and she can be herself with him around, but at the very least it seemed like she was trying to get into the idea of being interested in him. She was saying how he wouldn't truly be interested in her and that's why she pushed him away. I hope this doesn't solidify her feelings for Banri

Mouryou no Hako 6

Oreki went back in time to the middle of the 20th century and established himself as a mystery guru.

Have to admit I didn't quite follow how
the cult guy figured out who the reporter was or how that related to the phone call.

Mouryou no Hako is probably one of the very few anime's where I would argue that you'd probably want or need to see the series at least twice to really get the most out of it. The show really needs a cliff notes or something similar, except that you have to produce it yourself. The only alternative to that is to watch the entire show in one sitting. It's kind of brutal and wholly unforgiving in that regard.

Thanks to Wanpack's site, we know the first episode of Stardust Crusaders was animated back in November.

Well that's positive news, hopefully such preparedness means that we won't ruin into another Pillarmen-esque disaster this time around.

Also, I feel a little about complaining over the quality of a trailer when I know the anime industry (or I suppose any industry at the moment) doesn't really have a clue how to cut/direct a decent trailer.

On a positive note: no CG mansions in sight!

I think Banri and Linda hiding their prior relationship from Mitsuo is going to torpedo any chances of Mitsuo/Linda working out. It will be funny trying to see Banri explain it now though. "I'm not in love with her anymore, well, not unless my ghost of past memories is possessing me at the moment."

Angel Beats 01

Well... Everybody is already dead, and they're fighting some girl called Angel in an afterlife school. They steal glowing meal tickets from NPCs by using huge fans at a concert? I guess things will be explained later on. Oh, and there were lots of characters introduced too.

The :SDBurton keeps coming, as if to provide a counteroffensive to all the :DTL the past few episodes have had.
So Minori was writing the letters that got Ringo to come to their school. And not only is Ringo okay with it, she's getting very touchy feely about it. Sign me up!
The second half of the episode was surprisingly heartfelt for the series (interjection by the Elite Four aside), and the first half... I know I said I was happy with this being a season of slightly chubbier girls, but I didn't mean like that. That subplot was over with pretty quickly, though. A lot of stuff going on in this episode. Loved it all the same. It's a fun series, striking the right balance of comedy, drama, romance, lewdness and education.

And even better? Next week sounds like a Becky episode.

Yandere was actually the best part

Ghost Banri has been away for more than a couple of episodes now, don't jinx it or he'll return lol

*says he doesn't like Space Dandy*

*says majority of complaints he has read is because it isn't cowboy bebop*

*goes on to state how he dropped cowboy bebop after 6 episodes, implying he's so fucking cool for not liking it*

*states it's fine if you like space dandy humor, but he likes his humor more complex therefore implying you are a simpleton neanderthal*

*Goes on to praise My Mental Choices are Interfering with my Romance Life as a good example of good comedy*

LAWL. I don't mind if you are not enjoying Space Dandy as lord knows there are really low quality comedy episodes. And yes I am one of the ones that would've preferred if it had been closer to a funnier Cowboy Bebop.

But to reiterate you dropped Cowboy Bebop, then imply your taste in humor is better and finish it off by saying that My Mental Choices is a better comedy means you need to get off your high horse. Space Dandy isn't the best comedy, but it's better than... that

Its basically a more colorful Haibane Renmei if it was written by dumbasses. Its fun though.

No CG Stands is far more important.
