The way the theme and story coalesced with the music was great, though. That's not even my kinda music, but I loved it. What that game did was really unique, imo.

I mentioned the Vita and put "None of the above" on my platform of choice (and I actually explained it, I don't want them to think my main platform is the Ouya). Damn Square, you sure love to break my heart.

Just picked up a PSP GO. First Sony system since PS2. How do I go about playing games on this thing? Obviously need to sign up for PSN, but anything else cool to do with it?

First you need to buy a Vita.
Sign up in PSN, buy games, and play games. You could store some music or video files. Browse the internet or stuff. Take note that the quality is subpar compared to what the current gen hand held devices are.
This bloody survey haven't the Vita and PSP as options.

Destiny Spirits looks like fun. I never knew there was a beta.
You need to buy PSP or PSX games on PSN Store, download them and play them.
Ultimate Ghosts'n Goblins (US Store), Metal Gear Games, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max, Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles (US Store), Tekken, Soul Calibur are good options.
You always can install a CFW and then rip your ISO games to play games only released on UMD format like Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Ball games, Crisis Core, Silent Hill games and many more.

ouch yeah, I didn't really notice. 2D for life. The trailer definitely said WIP, but they wouldn't show it if they weren't relatively happy with it. My love for Rocketbirds knows no bounds, though.

It was. The combat system was relatively simple and repetitive compared to something like Pokemon, but it was really addictive, had a cool vibe going for it, nice artwork, and some awesome music.

Well, yes, but was there any place you could see your referral data? All I can find on my account is a method to view transactions... month by month... and my account has been open for almost three years...

Hmm I don't know, it looks 3D to me. Unless it's just not a well done 2D shading.
Does anyone have much experience with the baseball games on the Vita? I am looking to pick one up and wasn't sure how well they match up to the PS3 versions. I've never played any of the MLB: The Show games only the Konami power pro/pro spirits games but have no problem trying them out if people think they are the better games. I don't really mind about having up to date rosters or anything as I don't follow the sport just enjoy playing the games.

Imo they are just using some kind of bump mapping.
They could be using 3D character models and 2D backgrounds. Rayman Legends does that iirc

A few years back I was having dinner with cousins and his daughter wanted to try whatever I had in my PSP at the time, which was either Project DIVA 2nd or extend. Was cute.
Grab the PS3 demo and play Weekender Girl a couple times. You'll buy it once you realize it won't leave your head otherwise.
Is Weekender Girl on Vita as well? I'll grab it, but will buy Vita for on the go J-Pop!

Yes, that's one of the songs on both versions. The Vita version doesn't come with 6 songs the PS3 version has (due to the PS3 version being the latter release in Japan) but they are available as DLC. I have it all laid out in the OT if you need to know more.

I was playing the PDf Demo yesterday while in line to file papers in court.
I spent nearly 2 hours in that line and all I could get was standard on WEDH.
They should have come with your Vita, stupid question I know, but did you check the box your Vita came in?
Yeah, I read that and just double checked it before I posted. I bought my Vita from CowBoom. It's brand new and included everything else, but it wasn't retail new.
Hmm. As far as I know, the AR cards aren't sold separately. I guess you could always try Ebay or something?
Edit: yay, all is resolved!
I also read that AR cards are not included in Japan Vitas. Maybe there's a way to print them or something.

I think you're right. It's Strider, basically. 3D models used for 2D gameplay.
Just did it. The beta app takes up 759 MB, and I downloaded my save. Obviously, you can do nothing beyond staring at the title screen. I'll just keep it there to see what happens on the 25th. I expect nothing
