Yeah I'm not surprised. A lot of people I know bought the X1 just to play that game and have been posting pictures of their purchase all over Facebook.

Almost twice as much as the period leading up to the TitanFall launch. Time to see if the sales continue to approve and Microsoft's plan of a tiered launch in Europe will pay off.

Should be noted that the sales increase concerns just the UK.

Week-to-week? Meh. It really isn't all that big bump when you consider what they just had was their biggest "exclusive" release of 2014 sans Halo.

Reminds me of Wii U really.

Wow, im amazed!

Not as big a bump as I thought.

Hahaha...what?!

yes, a clear cut message of intent to the 'arrogant ones', that and reminder that a price cut and new software can make a difference

Based on my own anecdotal evidence that sounds about right. When I went to preorder mine there was a stack of possibly 30-40 behind the counter and when I went back on Saturday to pick something up they were all gone. No idea how they were selling before, but it certainly wasn't that much.

Haha yes. I guess its really week to week sales, so this bump actually isnt one.

Unless we have a figure for the week before, this is kind of pointless.

Could be a boost from 15k to 30k, which wouldn't mean much of anything.

Seems like an extremely big bump to me, no?
Would be significant if it was a monthly 96% bump. But it's not, it's a weekly bump. Maybe even a daily bump, who knows with that verbiage.

Japan sales age teaches us that 96% weekly hardware bumps are not very extraordinary.

It's a bigger release than Halo 2 Anny. But I'm surprised this isn't considered a big bump. Most people who'd have wanted TF would have already bought the unit. I'd never expect a game to get a huge number of people to buy a system just on launch week.

It's kinda hard to judge that increase without absolute numbers. This seems to be compared to the week before and I'd expect that week to be a little lower than usual since people were waiting for the Titanfall bundle (+pricecut?).

Without numbers, this 100% could be anything from amazing to small and insignificant. It was being outsold by the PS4 before hand, so was this enough to push it in front of the PS4, at least for a week?

I'm not sure if it's a big bump or not, but I was under the impression that it would do a lot more with all the price drops, bundling, AND the release of Titanfall. I don't know what the numbers were like prior, but I thought I saw they were quite low? It seems like they would be if they decided to drop the price... Hmm...

It's really hard to gauge, since it's just a WoW increase figure.
Sales might have been shit before that, and typically, weekly sales would go down before a big game release (especially bundled, and with a price cut) as people would wait until that is released.
Unless it sold a lot more than the average of a past few weeks, which we don't know, it's impossible to tell whether it actually had a strong effect.

Thing is, no other XB1 title went up the charts apart from DR3 at the bottom of the list.

Pointless without knowing how high the week before was,and whether or not the sales will be sustained after launch.

If it was so simple, Vita would had been successful. T_T

Vita saw a 68% boost at the launch of ps4 the another 60% the week following, stats mean little until we know what it sold previous.

No hardcore numbers and with the ps4 outselling over there wasn't it 3:1 this means it's still behind average ps4 sales.

Damn it we want numbers!!
