I was thinking about Guild Wars 2 and ESO, but my only real problem with most MMOs are the combat and/or lack of player economy. I played EVE for maybe 3 months, but I realized I needed more time in that MMO. I used to play Runescape, but after maybe 4 years of that I grew tired of it. The thing that drew me to EVE and what kept me in Runescape was the large player driven economy. EVE does not have the best combat and while Runescape's combat has improved, it is not on par to most non-MMOs I play. With the Elder Scrolls ONline my only real gripe was the combat and for Guild Wars 2...I am not too sure about the game since the combat seems a whole lot like the generic hotkey mmo.
Maybe some of y'all here in Steam thread can give some input? MMO fans have different standards or views than non-dedicated MMO players like myself and some of you.

Fuck AC: Brotherhood! It CTD'd on a successful assassin mission and auto saved at the same time. Save completely corrupted and the last backup I had of it was from January. FML!
EDIT: I am just gonna wiki the fucking Brotherhood story and just get into Revelations, I can't be bothered to backtrack all that progress now.

I wish Nicalis would fix the broken achievement on Cave Story tho.
I've never played ESO, but Guild Wars 2 is really good.
Combat wise, it's the best mmo for me. The game recieves monthly updates and the upcoming April 15th patch adds a LOT of neat stuff. Here's the OT where they can probably persuade you even further.

Shame that Brotherhood is the last of the 'great' AC games before IV.
Someone should have just somehow "cheated/hacked" Uplay and rewritten the last sequence achievement to "Congrats! You have finally completed the tutorial, now to the credits..."
They removed CD keys since the game doesn't require you to use GFWL anymore.
