This was a fair bit funnier than I expected it to be. The lead-in to establishing the situation, and first conversation between Cocoa(lol) and Chino was more creative than it needed to be. The character designs are fairly cute-max, but I like the quaint look of the town and coffee shop. Brick/wood combination stuff is always appealing to me. Other than hoping it continues to be funny, I'm interested in seeing how weird it gets, since there's more to the rabbit than being a simple shop mascot. Fun stuff.

Captain Earth 02

I can really get into this style of mecha. A teleporting gun with its own will? Sure why not. This episode was possibly more jargon filled than the previous one, but most of it was entertaining in a silly kind of way. The AI trying to have a bro conversation with shady CEO was weird enough to be funny, for example, and served to introduce another mysterious faction! Lol.

With any luck Daichi's attitude will maintain, because that's probably the most refreshing aspect of the show. He feels genuinely confident without it tipping over into bravado. Logically there are several criticisms I could level at the show, but for now I like it well enough to not really care.

Love Live S2 01

I liked the fun surprise musical opening to this, short as it was. I could perhaps have done without the drama that developed almost immediately afterwards and its foregone conclusion, but at least everything is set up now. I more expected them to spend time on lighthearted stuff to do with Honoka's new position, but that's probably going to happen in future episodes. I'm glad the show is back, at any rate.

A pretty odd, what I assume to be a recap episode of sorts. Still a pretty good episode. Just somewhat hard to follow. That Miyukichi though!

Not sure how I feel about this. It was very good no doubt and not having seen Kaze Tachinu yet I can't put the salt into perspective. I have to say though, Hanase isn't even the best musical sequence in the whole thing so that makes no sense at all.

I do wonder if this show could get any more deep with the shonen emotions but I am afraid it might top itself. Still, this show makes for a good contrast against the likes of Ping Pong and Baby Steps. Anyway, I probably would have done the same thing the coach did here and use the unexpected weapon to throw them off the their game. Also, Furya is a bit of a dick, I get where he was coming from but he still acted like a petulant whiner there.

Sword and Sorcery/Might and Magic fantasy fiction really bores me. Atelier series is really nice change of pace from that as they put more focus on the slice of life thing and alchemy in particular. They better not mess things up.

Ah precure , you really nailed it ...It's really on par to be a great season . 11 episode and it's still strong . i have no idea if they will manage to keep this up , but damn .. at this rate heartcatch will be surpassed.

Another prediction bites the dust.

And u oh what is this, character development and sobstory for Dilandau ? It better be good or you'll ruin a good villain.

Hitomi seems quite content to just crush on Gourry instead of worrying about how to return to her home world.

The show did a fine job setting up several mysteries and judging by the cliffhanger will have to start unraveling them soon.

Baby Steps 2:
In which our main character feels pride over outrunning a grade school kid.

Baby Steps is definitely embracing the more technical aspects of tennis, showing Ei-chan having to learn everything that goes into hitting the ball and taking a stance. It's been pretty good at doing that, and I think they've also done a good job at showing why he's getting interested in tennis. I definitely really enjoyed the moment where he felt that perfect shot. It's definitely a special feeling in tennis when you can fully connect like that. The romance stuff seems fairly standard right now, but it also hasn't been such a major part of the series yet. I'll see how that develops in coming episodes.

I don't mind Daichi, it's really the adult characters and their nonsense that is dragging down the show. But the writing is just really poor.

This reminded me a lot of Mawaru Penguindrum and Bakemonogatari.. This is not as interesting as Bake, and this is not as generally well done as Mawaru. So this was pretty boring to me.

Princess Tutu 11-13
I think this show is pretty good. I like Ahiru, so I guess I am willing to put with not liking a lot of the other characters in the show. Rue was okay but became a pretty bad villain. Fakir, who seemed to be a villain is now an anti-hero, I still don't really care about him. Mytho is starting to grate on my nerves a bit.

In spite of all this, I really liked the end of the first arc, I think the Soundtrack is really what's selling the show to me. Though the second arc seemed to be introduced a bit badly, it was abrupt and didn't seem all that different from the first arc.

Well, I like it enough to watch the show to the end, so there's that.
