AW YISS JUST GOT ALL PLAYFIRE REWARDS OF CROLIXU SIGMA!

Will you keep on playing or are you this excited because the game was so bad?

I think someone posted about needing very specific PhysX drivers to get it to run.

This? http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.13.0604-legacy-driver.html

Wooooo! Sendt a ticket to Playfire about my Playfire achivevement bugged situation. They responded and fixed it. YES!

How long did it take them to respond?

Is the store broken for anybody else?
Can't access it right now, Firefox and Chrome just show a white page and Steam loads for an eternity when I try to access it.

I doubt there will be any real region free keys in the future. SEGA made sure they can't be redeemed within locked regions with Rome 2, which I got it through a trader.

You'd think that if AtGames isn't publishing on PC/at all that Sega & Konami would just take back the rights and do it themselves or alter the agreement in some way to ensure PC money.

You assumed that Japanese publishers understand logic, they don't.

I never knew Binary Domain had a PC port until I saw it on HB, that's the power of region lock.

Edit: AtGames does publish some games, but they never deal with DLCs, so people who want to get them would have to buy the complete edition(Total War games) again.

Man you gotta love PC gaming - over the last 2 days I've bought Bound By Flame, Wolfenstein and Watch Dogs for a grand total of just over £50. Now of course that's nothing compared to buying games on sale etc but happy with that :)

Midday roundup of new releases:

The Dungeoning, a game that passed Greenlight, is now available for $8.89, a discount of 25% off its normal price.

About the Game

Explore shifting catacombs that are never the same twice, learn to navigate the devious traps and defeat monsters hell-bent on murdering you.
The successful rogue will master swords, bows and magic, learn to heal when afflicted and make the most out of resources. The successful rogue learns from mistakes and becomes stronger through experience. Will you be a successful rogue?

The Dungeoning is a difficult action platformer with character levelling, set in a procedurally generated dungeon. Kill enemies, level up using experience and master varied weapons and magic. Collect gold to spend with traders and buy better weapons. Try NG+ and beyond for an extra challenge.

Sir, You Are Being Hunted is now in version 1.0, and is available for $16.99, a discount of 15%.

About the Game

Sir, You Are Being Hunted is a procedurally-generated British horror in which tweed-wearing robots hunt you for sport. Roam the landscape, scavenge for food, hide breathlessly in the undergrowth, flee in terror, and even fight back with stolen weapons [...and is] a stealth and survival game unlike any other.

Farming World is now available for $11.24, a discount of 25% off.

About the Game

Whether you specialise in grain, fruits or even maintaining your own dairy farm, in Farming World you have the ultimate choice on how you shape your business. With dozens of seed types to choose from and an extensive stock market listing, you’ll have to adapt to become profitable. With plenty of seeds growing at different seasons you’ll need to stock up so you can sell when produce is at a high demand.

But as you continue to increase your profits that small patch of land you started with is not going to cut it. In this farming simulator PC game, you’ll need to expand your farms reaches across the map. Land can be purchased if you’re wealthy enough but for those with a limited budget you might be better off renting the land until you can afford to own your entire farm. As you obtain more fields to work in, you’ll have to construct roads which allow your vehicles to navigate to the correct patch of land so they can harvest and maintain the fields.

In order to maintain your farm you’ll need to construct a selection of buildings, of which you will have over 40 to construct including; greenhouses, bakeries, butchers and more. You’ll also be able to purchase animals from the traditional chickens and cows to the more unconventional domestic turkeys and ostriches.

Level 22 is another game that passed through Greenlight, and is now available for $5.09, a discount of 15% off.

About the Game

THE FIRST STEALTH GAME SET IN THE MERCILESS AND FRENETIC WORLD OF WORK!

Gary is an office worker who oversleeps after a drunken night out on the town. Here’s where it gets tricky, because this isn’t the first time Gary’s been late for work, and he could be fired if he’s spotted arriving at his desk after everyone else yet again. So he’ll have to prove he’s smart and sneaky enough to make his way up all the 22 floors between him and his office without being seen.

Consortium, yet another Greenlight approved game, is now available for $19.99, no discount.

About the Game

Taking place entirely aboard a massive futuristic aircraft, CONSORTIUM is a first person science-fiction role-playing experience unlike any other. The story begins in our world - the "real world" - where we here at Interdimensional Games have developed a satellite (iDGi-1) capable of opening a digital rift through time and space...

Anyone with an internet connection can travel through this rift and awaken within an alternate dimension from our own - the "game world" - in the year 2042.

OK Velvet assassin keeps crashing on me, what is up with that? Anyway to fix this?

Since you're only doing it for the playfire rewards just boot the launcher and let it sit there for a minute or two... close it out. Done. The game doesn't have achievements so all you have to do is "play" it for the first time.

Wooooo! Sendt a ticket to Playfire about my Playfire achivevement bugged situation. They responded and fixed it. YES!

What achievement bugged situation?

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
This here is the daily reminder to be careful when abbreviating "Japanese Publisher."

I see, no one understands Jap pubs' thought process.

I think they fixed that, locking ireland was just a mistake, I remember a lot of people praised konami for "doing the right thing" but infact they only intended to lock asia to begin with, so at the end they didn't do jack shit.

What do Japanese publishers hate more, their customers or their customers' money?

Sweet. I bought part 1 for $1 off of Indiestand awhile back, it' a great game. Lots of style and charisma, and some really good puzzles too. I'll be buying the full game on Steam next week then from the looks of it.
I thought the key from Indiegamestand would be for both parts? Not that the key is available yet.

Something went wrong badly before?

I remember they suddenly go hush hush after they promised to look into it.

Money, when SEGA combine "no cross region trading" with key activation restrictions is the day I stop buying from them. I wish their western counterpart could slap some sense back into them.

Time to jump in on this title. I jumped in on Don't Starve early during Early Access and it looks like a completely different game at this point.

I thought the key from Indiegamestand would be for both parts? Not that the key is available yet.

Hell if that's true then I'm going to feel guilty for getting such a great game so cheap! Maybe I'll buy a second copy and gift it if I get a steam key for my $1...

JaseC

gave away the keys to the kingdom.
can child of light be shared using family sharing?

not sure how uplay works

Yes and no. Yes, it'll show up in a shared library, but the secondary user would need the library owner's Uplay account info to actually play it.

Hey JaseC, what's going on with those Out of the Park games. 9 and 14.

Yeah, that caught my eye, but they're still available despite the status change. My first thought was that OOTP Developments intends to pull them, however the fact 14 hit Steam just four months ago has me doubting this.

Let me show you through these halls, my friend, where treasures of indie gaming await...
People definitely care, well, I do, the time you take to highlight some of the worthwhile indie games out there is very much appreciated. Waiting on my steam key from indiegamestand, love the graphics for that boar and I enjoyed what I played of it, been waiting for the steam release of this for a while.

The appreciation is appreciated ;)
