Those Michael Bay inspired slow motion "BUWAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooow's" in the trailer. It's hard for me to get excited for a COD game... but eh... Kevin Spacey does pique my interest just a little bit.

Have not been interested in a Call of Duty game in quite a long time but this one actually looks like it has some potential. Will definitely keep an eye on it.

Making a better COD game than IW isn't exactly an accomplishment. They haven't made a good COD game in years. They're gonna have to fuck this game up pretty badly to not make a better game than MW3 and Ghosts.

Modern Warfare 3 was awesome (I only play Free For All basically, it was awesome for that mode at least).

In wonder if Activision is going to do that thing they always do on Nintendo consoles and announce that version in a few months.

Interesting trailer but according to Wikipedia the only other game on Sledgehammer's resume is MW3 which was probably my least favorite COD game so I'm a little skpetical tbh.

Dont know if this has been posted but if you pre order now you get Advanced Warfare camo for ghosts - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWTyiRe3wAk

They did for Black Ops 2 as well with a Ghosts skin.

I need to pre-order for those posters that they always give out.

Was it the case with Ghosts? Gonna see if I find something about it.

EDIT: Found it. Ghosts had the same showing for Wii U, they announced it a month or two later.

"Activision has been all-quiet on Call of Duty: Ghosts for Wii U, leaving us to assume the franchise would be skipping Nintendo's platform altogether. Not so, says Infinity Ward executive producer Mark Rubin. They're just biding their time."

There were a lot of factors that contributed to MW3 being pretty awful, Sledghammer aren't necessarily to blame. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt at this point, since this game looks more interesting than MW3 ever did.

I gotta say, looks great to me. Ghosts, despite my own hype for it, left a sour taste in my mouth. Was going to return to my Treyarch only routine, but the early look from the trailer looks promising, at least as far as story is confirmed. Gonna be fun to watch out for more details.

I'm surprised they're giving cod graphics.

Hell some of it even looked visually interesting, if you cut out the war story shit and didn't tell me it was cod I'd have wanted to try it

Never again though after mw2, still kudos to them for trying to add some interesting looking weapons/vehicles/suit powers and whatnot

There seems to be a lot of changes compared to Ghost.

Maybe this will be as refreshing as Modern Warfare when it came out. Consider me hyped.

They worked on it but it wasn't "their" game. From what I recall they helped IW with it because of how hard IW was hit by exits after Vince and Jason left the company. They needed another studio to help them out because so many people left early in development. You have to remember that those exits started happening in early 2010, and MW3 came out in 2011. Infinity Ward lost 46 employees during that period. They lost the director of the MW series, all of the engineering leads, design leads, art leads and animation leads. Most of the engineers, writers, designers and scripters left as well. Which put Sledgehammer in a position where they were having to pick up pieces of a shattered project and studio.

The graphics in this trailer are wildly inconsistent. At times it looks like Crysis 3/Killzone Shadowfall. At other times it looks like Black Ops II.

Every slightly sci-fi or futuristic game AND movie uses that same ship model with the round blades on each side.

Lack of originality and inspiration.

And like the rest of the games in this series, this one won't offer anything we haven't seen and played before, yet it will make billions and a few months later we'll be back here again to do it all over.

Sledgehammer guy, please tell the rest of the studio to bring back a Pure playlist. I was never big on CoD except for the first Blops which had that

Yo, that mode was amazing.

Pretty much my second favorite mode in BLOPS. Pure gun on gun. No attachments, equipment, perks, or killstreaks.

So good.

They brought back the pure mode a couple of times in the new CODs but it only disables killstreaks. So lame. Might as well not bring it back if thats how they're going to do it.
