Could you imagine Antonio Banderas live on stage during Sony's E3? It'd be fan service to the max, but it'd be so good.
I truly feel Beast Souls is the last leak we will get out of Sony until E3. I don't think it'll be nonstop megatons, but it'll certainly have plenty of great surprises. It'll easily go 2 hours, if not a little more. I know that I'm easy to please and 2-3 surprises would be more than enough for me, but if Sony chooses to unload a clip at E3, I'm all for it.

Likely to give everyone time to attend all of the other conferences and get there with some time to unwind. Nothing malicious or sinister about it. I do feel sorry for PSGaf members that will have to be up late or wake up early to take part of this so. But you all know that the hype makes it worth it.

I watched E3 2007 on Friday, was quite good apart from Home and Chewbacca. Also made me realise that Phil Harrison stuck around with the PS3 longer than I remembered.

I've been revisiting Ico and SotC to prepare myself for TLG. And that GameTrailers E3 series is also helping a little.
I watched the '05 Conference a few days ago. It was so boring lol
Half of it was just tech talk from Crazy Ken, and the other half was full of CG trailers.

I've noticed the E3's before 2006 concentrated a lot on sales and market analysis. Seemed much more of a press/investor thing with a couple of big game reveals. I am pleasantly surprised how much more E3 is to the gamer nowadays.

One of the biggest surprise moments I remember from a Sony conference was when Gaben took the stage. Too bad all of his gushing over Sony and Steam integration didn't amount to anything.
I think that was also the same conference where Sweet Tooth drove out on stage at the end, which was pretty amazing.

I watched the E3 '09 TLG trailer again yesterday for the first time in a good few months. It still manages to stir the heart like it always did before. And every time it's over I always think to myself "damn, which one of those adorable fuckers is gonna snuff it at the end."
We demand Banderas. Your move Sony.

I agree with both, I watched E305 before E3 last year. It was awful.
I think E3's have come so damn far, in terms of pacing and presentation, it's truly amazing what it is nowadays.
