It's probably just "Halo 5 will arrive in 2015" so they can dodge the disappointment about this at e3. They are basically ripping every bandaid that could be interpreted as negative off before e3. Kinectless would have overshadowed a lot and a 2015 H5 release would have also overshadowed the good news a bit. They need to win big this year. They need to be on ign, gamespot, gametrailers and so on as having the best showing with only good stuff coming out of it. It's actually a smart move.
That said, I'm a dumb little boy at heart so I'm setting myself up for disappointment and fully expect a 10 minute gameplay demo with immediate release of a demo on xb1
