3DS NFC doesn't arrive until next year, and whatever the big showcase title for NFC is gonna be, it'll be on Wii U, the platform that the NFC push appears to be built around. I'd be surprised if that's what it is, if they're explicitly calling the subject "a new 3DS game" anyway.

Yeah I'll probably be at one if not both. A couple years ago at one of these things I got Reggie to accidentally announce Fire Emblem, which is one of my favorite E3 moments to date.

I have to figure though, if the full 90 minutes are used, it has to be a new game that'll be released within months. I can't imagine them spending 90 minutes explaining how Majora's Mask 3D is Majora's Mask, but with slightly better graphics, or a game that won't come out until 2015/2016. I mean it could be something like that if about 30 minutes or so is dedicated to a gameplay demo or something and about another 30 minutes is Q&A, but I'd bet that they won't use nearly the full 90 minutes

There is just a blowout of Smash Bros stuff coming at E3. Now we have discussion, the E3 Direct/Digital Event and of course the invitational. The 3DS discussion is just icing on the cake (hoping for Majora's Mask 3D!) and of course we'll finally see Zelda U. Nintendo is definitely bringing it this E3.

Boring But More Realistic Possibility: Majora's Mask 3D where they talk about how they've changed some things more than you'd expect
Realistic Possibility: "As you can see, when you add the figurine to the pedestal, Mario will appear in the game. You'll be playing Nintendo Figurine Rumble this fall on the Wii U, but the 3DS version will come next spring and have more exciting features."

Guess which one would get the most positive news coverage.
