Where possible well be making tracks available on both platforms. If you have already bought the track on PS3, and the song is available on PS4 then you wont have to pay again.

I would guess it would work. I'm in the same situation. I believe you can have multiple accounts on a PS4 so you could probably just have your uk account and then log in to download all the songs.

As borghe said, lets wait and see how many tracks move over to PS4 now. I really wish they would do something a bit different with the gameplay as well

To me, the gameplay is perfect. It's karaoke, it shouldn't be more complicated than that. Karaoke will never die.

Ultimate Party is the first PS4 disc.
No word on PS3 or PS2 discs working.
DLC works IF it's also available on the PS4 store. (Why is it split?)
No word on the dance/guitar add-ons
Regular mics and wireless mics still work
One thing I saw from the trailer is that it shows a much more precise pitch line during the songs. It's a thin string that draws inside the larger bubbles.
On the topic of PS2/PS3 discs, the PS2 discs on the PS3 had one major flaw. You couldn't use those for sharing on the community, only locally, even if the song was on the Singstore. That might be in place again for the PS4 version if they allow disc swapping. Not sure.
Regardless of what they say, I guarantee rapping will still suck
