Seriously now, what was the reason for this live stream? they could have easily just put that video on the PS blog.

Damn, that was underwhelming. Graphics looks amazing, but there was some heavy screen tearing (not sure if it was bc of Twitch or game, I'm sure it will get fixed by launch), but gameplay was just okay, I hope we will see another colors in the game than grey, brown and black.

why not release it on youtube? where you know, it wouldn't lag and i could see the 4 minutes of gameplay without lagging.

because lag is not that cool you know guys. ;_;

Twitch diminished the experience quite a bit. Stream was juttering over here.

But god. People really seem to dislike third-person shooters, don't they?

Gameplay looks ok, Visuals look amazing. I was hoping that they would show some of the physics engine off and such. Definitely reminds me of gears, because of the grittiness of the environments. E3 can't come soon enough...

Given how traditional of a third person shooter this looks to be, I hope the new Uncharted is going in a different direction.

I don't think Sony marketing quite understand's what Twitch is for. Is there any reason why they couldn't have just uploaded this to Youtube and called it a day?

I agree that it looks like a regular TPS, but the atmosphere, the voice acting, the grafix, the weaponry, and the possibility of a damn good story all have me eager as all get out to play this game.

I know that many people will complain about the way it's just a cover shooter, but I feel like there's a place for games like this in the industry. If the story is great and all of the stuff that I listed above are great, why can't a game fall back and laurels that have been proven to work?

Looks amazing to me, I hate when people say aiming is off and that gameplay looks sucky when they haven't even played it. Guess the Xbots are feeling jealous of this exclusive.

that was really boring. it looked uncharted with shooting that looked more awkward.

not sure if it was the stream or not, but there was loads of tearing as well.

eh... nice looking game, though.

Looks great, but the aiming looked wonky as hell. Either that, or the person playing sucked at the game.

For those complaining, the screen tearing will probably be fixed by the time it ships.

Yeah! The first glimpse of game play must have been played by someone who didn't know what they were doing or was overhauled. In that reveal it seems liked he only aimed horizontally or vertically at any one time.

Pretty shooter? Pretty shooter. And that's all we can say about it, really, so people who like those types of games will be satisfied. Everybody else? You can move on :)

Seamless transition from cutscene to gameplay, shows effectively that it's running in real time, and that all the visuals are in a working game.

The gameplay shown is a little generic so far, but I expect most early showings of games to be this way. I like the idea of the gun he's using, looks like he's shooting flammable ammo into walls and following them up with a fire shot to ignite them.

If you like action shooters, this looks pretty cool. If you're not, this doesn't look cool. It ain't complicated!

It looks ridiculously gorgeous.

I don't get the gameplay complaints, what are people expecting from a TPS ?

It looks fun to me , I loved GeoW and Uncharted and can't wait for this.

Maybe they should have shown 3 mins that actually looked interesting then. The fact is that what they showed off was standard gameplay for your every day cover based third person shooter. I don't want the game to fail. But that's what I saw and I'm not going to lie about it. So far the visuals are the only remarkable thing about this game. But we'll see. Maybe there's more to the game than they've shown.
