The Houston location is about 30 minutes from my house, just reserved 2 tickets. Not sure if I want to go yet though.

Fuck it I got 4 tickets for me and my friends and now we're all going. It's not far, and the only time I even have to go outside is walking to the station. I was planning on watching all the E3 stuff with friends anyway.
The only way this will ever work is if everyone laughs and gets hype and disappointed in unison during certain moments. None of that quiet stuff. It's basically seeing the snark present on Twitter during conferences but in person

Of course it is PR hype. Organizing a nationwide event like this will generate a crazy amount of buzz. But if they don't back it up with great content, it will blow up in their face. Badly. I'm sure they are aware of that.

Think we're gonna show up around 7-7:30 to get good seats. Either way I'll occasionally scope out the area to see if there's a need to line up earlier. Never experienced Lynnhaven's IMAX before, only Hampton's.
