Watch Playstation's E3 conference in movie theaters

Given that they're keeping it a secret it's most likely something to do with a thing they're announcing at the show. Probably just some cheap piece of swag for a game being announced at the conference, but it could be something nicer.

This is my thought too, though the fact that they're leading front and center with it makes me think it might be something more substantial than normal. Something small though, easy to hand out...commemorative coins? Games? Download codes? It won't be anything big, so no Oprah moments, people!

Papercuts

fired zero bullets in the orphanage.
Okay, so that initial spreadsheet got trolled pretty hard. I tried to copy as much of the info as I could into this new spreadsheet (quote my post to find the link). If you added your info before, I recommend you check to see if it's still there.

EDIT: If any of you puts this link out in the open, I will find you and give you several papercuts in unpleasant places.

Keep me out of this pls.

I got a ticket to Columbus. It will be cutting it close to be there on time though since I get off work at 8 and google maps tells me it's a 46 min drive from work to there.

The age restriction is probably because they're showing M rated games and also showing the brutal murder of the Catbird from Last Guardian

I'm signed up for San Francisco if anyone else going. It works out perfectly with my work schedule, it's a short drive, and I would watch it at home anyway. Might as well watch with other people that are excited about it too!

I'm probably gonna do this myself at the DC showing. Leave well before rush hour (i live in SE DC), find a parking spot and plop myself outside the theater with either my vita or a book and some music.

The nice thing about the theatre in Nashville is its inside the mall and air conditioned. Sitting out side for 2 and a half hours in the sun in Nashville the 2nd week of June would suck.

Alright, information page has been updated with current state of availability in each city. Red highlighted cities and locations are Canadian. Thanks for the help Kyledk05. Also, hype train was added :D

You will all be at my altar on June 9 asking why you didn't listen.

The irony being that if they don't show anything Last Guardian wise it really will in essence be the brutal murder of Catbird.

Got my ticket for the SD showing... about an hour away tho. I saw a post earlier saying that it should be a direct satellite feed, and if so, this is going to be an epic showcase! I'm just so sick and tired of streams, so many artifacts and the buffering. If this is a success, I hope that they expand on it next year. Shit, I'd even pay to experience this if it's closer to home in the future.

Unless extremely humid, I have no problem with heat at all. Hell, as a goth girl, I wear long sleeves and pants (black) year round. But in the event it is brutally humid... Punk tank dress, leggings, boots and my new Maleficent bat hoodie from Hot Topic :3

I think this move by Sony is genius. Imagine if this becomes a trend, every year on E3 people going to the movies to see it. More potential buyers, more exposure, this is great.

Pretty much May-October is extremely humid in the south and in the 90s in Nashville.

I am bummed though cause I am working all day and am worried Microsoft's press conference will be spoiled for me at the Sony event before I watch it.
