All of the Crusader Kings 2 dlcs are on sale, including the 3 which aren't usually in packs (Sons of Abraham, The Old Gods, Rajas of India). I was pretty happy they went on sale, because I bought the pack and thought it was amazing. :>

New Payday 2 trailer starring a familiar face from Breaking Bad and detailing a few upcoming heists.

Nice to see Starbreeze adding so much post-launch content into this game.

Edit: Fuck me, I'm late as always.

my god,Guacamelee has some of the most difficult and frustrating platforming I have ever seen...people usually say super meat boy is hard platforming, guacamelee is several times harder in certain parts...especially on the "top of the tree"

does it even give you something good (since it seems it is an optionalpart not related to the story)?

When you're collecting the mask parts? Getting them all
lets you fly in chicken form
. So no.

Having accepted the challenge, I can easily confirm that DmC is in fact not so easy that one could use a NES Power Pad to do well in the game, one has to actually be able to move. Yes I know hyperbole post prior and no one actually wanted to know, I just needed to see if if this NES/Famicom to USB adapter actually worked and hell, it was funny enough to attempt.

Time to play some NEStalgia with a Famicom controller.

No problem guys, enjoy :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one that felt uncomfortable about how the game treated black characters actually, and I'm surprised that more reviewers haven't called it out given how quick people want to drum up controversy at times =/

In what way? Haven't played it.

I wish Steam would be a bit tougher when it comes to games being listed with release dates, and require an actual date once a game's listed on the store.

Preordered and can't wait to play Rise of Nations, listed as "June 2014" - in less than half an hour it'll be June 4th here - I fail to believe that with only 26 days of June left at that point, the release date of the game is still unknown.

Mandatory listing of an actual release date once a game is able to be preordered would be a good solution.

Well you will either cut your eyes on horrendous tearing or getting motion sick from a solid 20 fps average performance level depending on the platform you bought it on so enjoy. The only way to win with that game is to just wait for a better version to eventually release literally anywhere but on those two consoles.

Enjoy the game. The frame rate isn't that big of a deal really, compared to the other 100 or so massive issues the game has. But somehow I still enjoyed it.

It is one of those games that people shouldn't hope for a port. It needs a rewrite from square one to realise its potential.

Enjoy the frames. You can pretty much count them in DD (at least on PS3).

I bought it on PS3 D:

Probably a good thing since I doubt we'll ever see Dragon's Dogma on pc :(

Not in the near future anyways.

Maybe DD2 will be on PC =/

Dragon's Dogma runs pretty poorly but I managed to put up with it. Game's scale and battles are just incredible, which combined with the hilariously bizarre tone and incredibly unique ending makes for a must play. Just hope it comes to the PC.....eventually.

After getting through Drakengard 3 everything seems smooth :p Wish that would come to the PC too, lol.

I think I'm something shy of 2000 on both Blind and No Luca No Survivals!
Good god you're good! :D

I did this right after that on normal Survival Mode. LOOK HOW CLOSE I WAS! Took me like more than a hour to rack up that many kills, just to get hit by a super fast projectile on my last hit. Game moves beyond SUPER FAST after 9000 kill!

You need the Power Glove obviously.

I laughed out loud at this.
Then I remembered you posted screenshots with default Donte and I was conflicted.

I heard this knock on it so I never bothered to play it even though it was free for PS+. I'm still hoping Capcom ports it to PC someday, as it was made by DMC team and if it ran at 60fps, I'd probably love it.

I wanted to play it so bad. When I was getting it for free from PS+, I thought "this is awesome". And then I saw tons of comments about how bad the framerate was and decided to just up and skip it. :\

Even ignoring the technical side I was never able to really get into Dragon's Dogma. Everything in the game felt more tedious than it needed to be, the inventory, the quests, the travelling, even combat.

I think I enjoyed the ~5 (maybe 10) hours I played, but the game just wore me down to a point where I didn't want to start it up anymore.

In what way? Haven't played it.

A gang of African Americans is a major character and are as stereotypical in that cliche as you can imagine.

It's horribly cringe worthy but coupled with the fact that, if memory serves me, is that they are the only african american characters in the plot makes it even more damning.

edit: a quick google shows I probably am not the only one who felt this way.

Oh gawd...

Right now I'm halfway through grandmaster mode, but I dunno, I feel I'm losing my skills... I've became so sloppy and distracted, it feels very painful seeing myself playing this bad... :(

As with anything in life, the satisfaction of personal achievement far outweighs any transient material reward.

Do the tree tops wearing the chicken costume. It'll make it easier on babby.

Please stop.

I think my highest was 700 and I was mighty proud of that.

What if it was a screenshot of Donté wearing the Power Glove?

I'd be much less conflicted. :)

Heh. And it's not *that* hard, really.
The fact that your chicken form can fly if you get all the orbs is totally a worthwhile reward too... it makes a lot of collectible stuff much easier to get to and such.

While the treetops bit is a pretty rough step up in difficulty, in no way is Guacamelee harder than Super Meat Boy. There are light world levels in SMB that are harder than anything in Guacamelee.

I too enjoy it when a game must always include a thorough cast of positive and professional multiethnic characters. That never becomes glaringly obvious and cliche, just look at TV shows and movies.

Also like the paste and polygon writers I get outraged when games that don't focus on the history of race relations, don't focus on race relations. Shame on Ubisoft, it can't be that paste and polygon publish the work of hacks.

Iraq and lucky were the only interesting characters. *shrug* the game should have been about them and a power struggle.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
I'm humbly offering my extra Steam keys:

I'd argue that the Infierno challenge consisting in throwing a motherfucking chicken around is one of the hardest (and frustrating) things I've ever tried in a videogame. Never got that gold medal, still have nightmare about it, goddammit. :'(

Sorry. :(

I was moving like a Grandmaster Ninja Jedi Warlord on my last hit with dat Golden Sword from 99820 all the way to 9997 and then lost focus and got blindsided by a damn super fast thrown sword... Sucks, wanted that 10K score... Don't have the patience for it again tonight.

How the hell do I get a key for Battlepaths? Checked groupees and desura can't get a key. Want to get in on the Playfire action.

Still waiting for keys for Magicians and Looters and Livalink as well which are taking forever. Enjoyed both games and I'm just waiting for them to hit Steam to continue playing.

It's quite good, there is no online community on PC though so you'll be getting it as a single player game.

If you like DC comics or Netherrealms fighters, sure.
I found it to be supbar after MK9 and everything about the game engine seemed to be a step backwards... from the animations to the inputs to the gimmicky environment stuff.

I've heard the online is bad, but I haven't tried it myself.
My friend, who is very perceptive when it comes to lag, said he wouldn't recommend it unless it was <$7.50 or so. :)

Thanks, I have this game on the Wii U and I had loads of fun. I want to get this since it has all the dlc content in it. But I don't have anyone to play with though.

For Battlepaths, install the game through the Desura client. When it's done installing, click to play and it'll spit out your Steam key.
